05/11/2013 10:21 | AGM All seams ok. GC will elaborate later today. Agree share price should now start to recover. | sabre6
05/11/2013 10:08 | AGM must be nearly over then given the expected turnout? 'All resolutions passed' annoucement by mid-day,if not before? | valentine
04/11/2013 15:51 | Yes, agreed Bas. Everything with Iron appears to follow the same lines as AMER, so using the form guide I would expect an update in the morning. I still don't believe that the drop was related to the SA Govt article as that particular news had been in the public domain for weeks. I'd go along with val's theory that a distressed Insti was selling down both AMER & IRON to raise cash. Also, going by today's price action, it looks like they may have finished, which should hopefully signal a rise back to the 13 - 14 levels at least. But, as you often say wtfdik !!! | ladeside
04/11/2013 15:31 | Well I am hoping for an RNS in the morning as a means to providing an ops update | bigbas
04/11/2013 14:38 | Maybe he will? If as Bas suggests, he is away on business he may come back soon with a few assurances. | valentine
04/11/2013 14:33 | Yip val, it looks like the seller may be cleared for the time being as the buying pressure is starting to move us up again. Will Uncle Giles have a pre-AGM treat for us in the morning ?? | ladeside
04/11/2013 14:08 | Dly'd trades..someone getting interested again? | valentine
03/11/2013 13:39 | I guess thats a "NO" then. I emailed Nick the other day and he said that the AGM is just a formality and they consider it a waste of time and resouces to fly the CEO over to the UK for the AGM when historically it has been poorly attended ( 1 person last year). Must confess I tend to agree - would prefewr our man to be working on the ground until we start to get a bit more interesting - maybe next year | bigbas
01/11/2013 09:43 | Any one going to the AGM? | bigbas
01/11/2013 09:25 | Presumably we will get clarification at or shortly after the AGM if this has been "spooked" by talk of S.A. gov. legislation and if so can it be dismissed wrt IRON. | annie38
01/11/2013 09:21 | There is Campanile short-stay place a short taxi dive away..£30 on late deal with brekkie. Unless some coincidental conference at time St M will be available and may well be on the late room scheme. GC does not suffer fools gladly. So have your questions well prepared. He is unlikely to say much on Amerisur unless you collar him over coffee beforehand, or in the bar the night before, if so lucky. NH a better bet to have a proper conversation with. Last time I spoke to GC he X-rayed my wallet, and moved on. Once the business of the day is finished there will be questions from the floor and he'll be out the side door.. He does not allocate much time to questions, eh Bas? | valentine
01/11/2013 09:15 | To be honest I want it to be whatever is most cost and time effective for iron so they can focus on growing business. As a northerner london is usually more expensive to get to and stay in than cardiff. | pcla
01/11/2013 09:10 | bigbas Costa about £300 to hire a decent room in London with coffee and biscuits. | bulldog30
31/10/2013 18:21 | IRON and AMER's HQ is just round the corner from St Mellon - which is why it bis there - and probably because it discourages a lot of PI's ffro turning up. The big boy investors will be there anyway - as they will be on expenses and probably travel the night before. GC would argue that it is more cost effective to have the AGM in Cardiff than London anyway | bigbas
31/10/2013 18:02 | GC likes his P's..Hope not but you never know? Usually the share price goes up prior to a Pee..and they have been nearer 20p where I think it may have been a poss. 10p or thereabouts doubt it. | valentine
31/10/2013 17:59 | valentine that is a biggish trade at 9.5p.......could there be a fundraising ? Check out KEFI and BHM share graphs ahead of placings. | bulldog30
31/10/2013 17:34 | 2.1m dly'd trade @ 9.5p..someone gone then? 763k @ 10.25p someone in then? | valentine
31/10/2013 16:37 | LADESIDE If he is so respected in the City why not hold the AGM in London.I am sure that the visitors' changing room at Lords would be fine or even the Long Room. | bulldog30
31/10/2013 10:39 | cant get through to HQ and they don't reply to emails. | tommygriff
31/10/2013 10:06 | You could always kill two birds with one stone and ask about AMER if you get the chance to collar GC on his own :) | doughboy66
31/10/2013 10:03 | Anyone know if there's a presentation at the AGM? Not going to Cardiff unless there is! | tommygriff
31/10/2013 09:50 | Lakeside Could not agree with you more. I see GC has not sold so my view no need to worry about latest drop. | sabre6
31/10/2013 09:01 | I think not. GC is not some mickey mouse AIM character, he is one of the most respected figures in the City and the "major investors" of IRON are all trusted associates of GC unlike the unsuspecting public that invest in some of AIM's more "ramped" & "hyped" shares I could mention. Nothing to worry about. | ladeside
31/10/2013 00:27 | Early hours meetings worry me. they are trying to discourage attendees and may try to rush over the meeting methinks. | bscuit
30/10/2013 15:58 | well I bought a few this morning expecting a tick up - but nothing happened so far | bigbas |
