fenseal3.
May I ask who you spoke with?
Your post 314 does not stack up with the information that I've gained.
A reply would be most welcome.

This may be rhe reason for the sP

"In addition to the Ordinary Shares, the Company has305,000,000 A ordinary shares of GBP0.01 each (the "A Ordinary Shares") in issue that are not admitted to trading on AIM. The A Ordinary Shares rank in priority to the Ordinary Shares with respect to any distribution of assets of the Company on a winding-up and have no rights to attend and vote at general meetings of shareholders of the Company, but otherwise rank pari passu in all respects with the issued Ordinary Shares, including the right to receive all dividends and other distributions declared, made or paid on the Company's share capital.

OR IN OTHER WORDS NET CASH (ON DISTRIBUTION DUE TO TAKE OVER OR WIND UP OF £0.00127 PER SHARE.

Still over valued imo.

PS. I used to hold but got out ages ago before the atribution of revenue was clarified.

I quite liked the business when I looked before; to be fairer, I'd view it very differently if it showed signs of revenue growth.

Always difficult to know whether really good tech. should grow despite economic conditions and I'm never very confident when that pops up as a reason for lack of growth, if a company really has a USP.

Must confess, I don't know much about Invu, just a scary level of short term creditors. Been there with a company I was involved with once and when you see no growth in revenue, a chill spreads through everyone.

yump, take a look at all the companies in their sector, look at the remuneration, look at liabilities, look at the turnover, look at the amount of shares in issue preference and voting...this is how the sector is run, untill they break free and start to make profit(which not many do!!!), but this will, i'll do some research for you and post some companies in the same sector worse off and with multi- million pound MC,but...not tonight, it's bath night, speak soon!!!

The reason its cheap is because for instance the short term creditors = annual turnover ! £10,000 here and there isn't a commitment for directors or Investec.

It would be making pre-tax profit if the directors halved their pay.

tomboyb thanks for that i will look into it....i think maybe some fingers have been burnt here and a bit of negativity has crept in which is understandable, it's not odd to have class A preference shares, they will come into practice when it goes tit's up...i still think this has a lot going for it, for me at this level it's worth it, others may need to average down a bit so it would be a good time to do so like investec have done....must be the lowest MC of a share thats at breakeven with 600k in the bank that i have ever seen, MC of 370k, GLA!!

Just nosing around as I remember looking at this a couple of years ago.

Have I missed something or:

Business isn't growing.
The directors are taking the p.ss with their remuneration.
Short term creditors exceed the entire assets.

Are there any positives ?

When you look at what hard working people are earning, there should be some law against directors taking more than a certain % from a floated business with such a small turnover.

I've got a mate who was in charge of the entire multi-million manufacturing operation across the UK for a large PLC, who didn't earn those sorts of figures. Its a disgrace.

There's a good chance you could be right fenseal3 but the company's past performance is poor. As you rightly point out they have £600k cash in the bank. However (taking a very simplistic view), if at the next set of results they only manage to break even, all that cash in the bank will be used up paying the directors' salaries and bonuses! And if that happens, the market may just stick with the current MC valuation of around £370k. I think I'll hold off until I've seen the next set of results.

Just my opinion but if you bought in at a high level, now would be the time to top up...looks like investec have done just that from 3.4mm to 5.7m September 2012, i will be buying in this week, this could be a 10 bagger no probs, even 10 times the MC it's still only 3.7m.

fenseal3, I just checked the balance sheet and see at 31 July 2012, they reported cash of £641k, which is something I hadn't appreciated. So yes, I agree with you that the current MC would seem to be a bit on the low side. I am concerned though about where this company is heading; Staff leaving and failing to win much new business. I have not done any detailed research. 'Just keep half an eye on the company. I've been a shareholder since the dot.com days. Only about 4 months to go 'till we see the latest set of numbers .....

looby loo, the MC should not be 370k, thats the point, they have cash of 600k that should make the share price 0.4p right away, apart from that this is a growing business and they are at breakeven, any other company at this level would have a MC of 5m...look at other companies in the same sector look at their remunerations some if you look are at the same level as INVU, even when they are losing money and raise cash at the drop of a hat, all i am saying here is this is a company that is getting to a level where they will be in profit soon and their cash reserve is building up, their finance director bought in @ 0.45p, 2.2m shares,i know a while back but he being (finance director) would know more than most where this could be heading....all i do is look for stocks that are worth more than their MC and don't need to raise money and have cash in the bank and have a good future, if they where losing money, had no cash, and needed a fund raising only to pay wages like dozens of companies do then i would agree with you(remuneration) as being face value....but this is not the case, c'mon MC 370k,

I feel the directors' remuneration is somewhat excessive for a market cap of £370k. From the Annual Report for the year ended 31 January 2012:

beangrinder, thanks for that, i noticed Investec upped their stake in September to 5.7m, also they have 600k cash and are breaking even, with only 169m shares in issue and 69m held, they only have about 100m in free float, Ian Smith bought 2.2m @ 0.45p, that was in July 2011..i know a while back but he put his own money in, he must know that it won't be long before they start making a decent profit, downside they don't give much news out, but COMS was the same untill a new investor came on board, these type of shares do get forgotten about but when you look at other stocks and sectors and see how much money needs to be raised and the amount of dillution, putting money in here looks like a safe bet and a good investment, i will be buying here when i sell elsewhere, this is a great growth share and when peeps see this and get on board it will move very quickly...this seems about 6 months behind what coms are doing profit wise, coms has a MC of 3m this has a MC of 370k, they turn over 2.7m break even and have 600k in cash....that will do for me!!!!

I bought some of these a couple of weeks back and interestingly my buys showed up as sales. I traded them a few months back around results time and fancied them again. The market cap is tiny and very few shares trade although there is far more to buy than sell. It would not take much good news for share price to rocket and their balance sheet looks much stronger after a loan capitalisation last year.I know their product and the potential growth from their new partner routes is significant so they are a decent punt for me longer term or a quick trade if the price spikes 50% short term. Any share tips would also fire up the share price
