02/6/2010 12:18 | Well that's about number 4 in the last 2 or 3 months. Has to make you think twice about investing in small micro caps with majority holders. Sorry to see how it turned out for the small shareholders. You have my sympathy guys. Edit: Not intended as a ramp but have a look at CAO. It's a small cap trading at less than cash. I've been holding since just over 12p and have it as a buy up to just over 18p. Just read the thread - it's all self explanatory. | liarspoker
02/6/2010 11:35 | gog, thanks, will look into that | jailbird
02/6/2010 11:16 | jailbird, Very badly it seems as a liquid market doesn't exist, at least based on the accounts of having witnessed the consequences of delisting at both WTV and REF. I think that you phone J P Jenkins and say that you want to buy or sell shares, and then they try to match that instruction with someone else who's phoned them previously to try to arrange a mutually acceptable trade. | gogoneko
02/6/2010 11:05 | ho does the matched bargain facilities work anyone? | jailbird
02/6/2010 11:05 | they need another 10% of holders to get the de-list through. It depends what carrot is being offered to them i owuld have thought. The mkt has been this morning happy to collect the smaller PIs shares this morning on the large markdown. I hold only 15k from 15p, so no hurry to sell them as this silly price. | jailbird
02/6/2010 09:49 | There's a small chance someone will appear because in the right hands they could make good use of the business. I wrote off the value of the remainder of my shares as soon as I read the RNS title this morning anyway, my only personal comfort is in having disposed of some of my original purchase in disgust of the lack of appearance of a trading update. At least it's clear now why they didn't issue one. [edit : I am surprised at the purchases today - I can't believe some do have the confidence that the share price can recover, unless they're happy with life on the matched bargain facilities ] | gogoneko
02/6/2010 09:16 | Nowt you can do once directors and pals have a majority shareholding your stuffed. It just happened me with Spectrum and in protest i kept some shares as they value the companies so little to take them on the cheap. One day i'll see a return. Don't hold these anymore but this is just another case of shareholder robbery. | battlebus
02/6/2010 09:09 | I'll hold on as the market is rightly valuing these directors as being completely worthless (i.e. almost nothing more than cash in bank) and we'll see if someone's still interested in taking the business away from their useless hands. I'd like to see these idiots try justify the rejection a 10p offer! | gogoneko
02/6/2010 08:19 | hve a small holding as a punt really..but would not sell just yet | jailbird

02/6/2010 08:02 | Press release from Invocas this morning proposing a de-listing from AIM : | bigowl88
02/6/2010 08:00 | Yes another one bits the dust along with shareholders money. | battlebus
02/6/2010 07:39 | AIM and its greedy, pathetic directors strike again. No real justification at all for this action except pure greed by Messrs David MacMillan, Robbie Drummond, et al. Why are investors not being shown the trading figures before being asked to vote? And how was the price being deliberately held down at these levels? In this case I will lift a finger, and not just a middle one to the directors. | gogoneko
24/5/2010 10:37 | Hoping we will see some more blue this week, just too cheap at current share price IMHO. GLA | mike_f
21/5/2010 14:43 | The reason i made this thread is because i like to see the charts at the top... agree with you about the day jailbird, just to stay where we are is good in a market like this. GL | mike_f
21/5/2010 10:02 | i will be happy to se neutral when the mkt is like this. However these debt issues can only be good for debt Cos. I see there are two threads open!! I think liarspoker needs to see the above info. | jailbird
21/5/2010 09:58 | Hope to see a bit more blue today, GLA | mike_f
20/5/2010 15:35 | Liarspoker, I very much doubt in these times that the government will issue legislation which risks the destruction of the private sector insolvency providers because there is insufficient (and potentially dwindling) capacity elsewhere to meet increasing demand and things will quickly end up in a worse situation. Whereas previously the sector operators could be rightly accused of profiteering from charging ridiculous fees, from what I see what has happened since the IVA protocol appeared is that the a combination of new fee structures and competition for business have made it hard to make a profit and hence there are already casualties and a lot of slow-adopter (e.g. INVO) businesses struggling to turn themselves around. Furthermore, from what's printed, there also appears increasing acceptance and uptake by the creditors of the insolvency services provided in an effort to limit their losses. All IMO opinion of course, I've just been watching the sector for a year or so now. | gogoneko
20/5/2010 15:12 | Yes but a 50/50 gamble remains. If legislation gets passed INVO is screwed basically. | liarspoker
20/5/2010 15:11 | Think you are forgetting about two years of selling off. Lots of shares about. | battlebus
20/5/2010 10:47 | Good support at this level, currently 2v1 on L2, couple more buys and we should be up again :) GLA | mike_f
20/5/2010 10:07 | i am have bought some just as a punt, a safe punt at these levels in feel. will see what the results say. yep does look like it abt the overhang. | jailbird
20/5/2010 09:53 | jailbird, looks like the overhang has cleared here and we have moved up. Great to finally see some blue this week after some good buys. Along way to go still IMHO. GL | mike_f |
