Posted at 23/2/2007 14:37 by praipus Yep cant/wont sell the ICAC I have but the total investment is so low it is not a concern more a curiosity. I was given the impression that the inference to the possibility of capital share holders getting anything was merely a legal formality. Something funds legally have to do to cover themselves in the event of a large increase in assets at the last moment. |
Posted at 01/2/2007 16:57 by praipus Hello, well done purse. I bought in when ICAC showed a glimmer of NAV. Not a big deal.I've only got the caps ICAC so as you say unlikely to get anything or much. The other class your thinking of is ICAY geared units 1 income share and 1 capital share. Live and learn. Are you still holding Ecofin ECWC's? Praipus |
Posted at 01/2/2007 16:49 by purse PraipusHi again, I have some of these as ICAX the units, they are subject to a series of EGMs terminating and rolling into a new trust. If approved trading ceases on 26th Feb 2007 (I think). According to the prospective the Zeros will get their full share, the incomes will not quite achieve the maximum, it is unlikeley that there will be anything left for the Caps. I thought there was only 3 classes Zero, Inc & Cap, there are however 2 units ICAX has 1 of each in, I'm not sure what the other has. Interestingly it pays a quarterly div, due 02/02 and will pay its final divi 27/02, this is early due to the proposed wind up & roll over. Mine held in an ISA and will have been a minor success, allowing for reinvesting the divi. Purse |
