It sounds like you know him personally so on what basis is it well deserved? Even before the corona virus the share price was down 30% over a 5 year period.

Continuation succeeded on back of large broker nominee accounts. 1607 Capital Partners are the largest shareholder with 14.5% and prob voted against. IMO, IVI will offer to buy in say 20 - 30% of shares near nav to get rid of 1607CP. If they don't then the discount will slide back over 15%

Yes. The Company’s AGM will be held on 10 September 2020 at 11am.

The wind-up vote may well fail, but I would expect them to put some measures in place as a sweetener.

So, the discount in the run up to the vote has been hovering around the 12% mark. What I’ve been pondering is, if the wind up vote fails, are we to expect the discount to revert to the 15 to 18% mark?

Wind-up vote could be quite close.

With Invesco having such a poor name, it wouldn't surprise if it goes. Would be a shame for Ciaran, who I have time for.
