Invesco Perpetual Select Trust plc HEADLINE: Appointment of New Director The Board of Invesco Perpetual Select Trust plc (`the Company') is pleased to announce the appointment of Sir Michael Bunbury as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 10 January 2008. Having spent almost 20 years at Smith & Williamson in various senior positions, including Chairman, in 1997 Sir Michael established his own business providing high-level financial advice to a range of families and their business and property interests. At Smith & Williamson's invitation, he also carries out consultancy work to the firm. He is an independent non-executive director of Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust plc, Chairman of JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust plc and Chairman of HarbourVest Global Private Equity Ltd, as well as holding directorships of various property development companies. Sir Michael does not currently hold any shares in the Company's issued share capital. No information is to be disclosed in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13(2) to 9.6.13 (6) of the Financial Services Authority's Listing Rules.
