HEADLINE: Appointment of New Director

The Board of Invesco Perpetual Select Trust plc (`the Company') is pleased to
announce the appointment of Mr David Rosier as a Non-Executive Director of the
Company with effect from 28 November 2007.

Having spent over 20 years with Warburg Investment Management, Mercury Asset
Management, and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, in 2003 Mr Rosier was one of
the founding partners of Thurleigh Investment Managers LLP of which he is
currently Chairman. David is also a non-executive Director of Threadneedle
Asset Management, a Director of the Armed Forces Common Investment Fund, of
which he chairs the investment sub-committee, and a Director of the Forces
Pension Society Investment Company. David is a trustee of the Nuffield Trust
for the Armed Forces, the Burma Star Association, the Winchester College 1945
War Memorial Fund and 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards Museum. He is a member of
the Securities & Investment Institute.

Mr Rosier currently holds the following shares in the Company's ordinary
shares:

250,000 UK Equity Shares

349,726 Managed Liquidity Shares

(6) of the Financial Services Authority's Listing Rules.
