RNS Number:6213B Internet Business Group 07 August 2007 Internet Business Group plc ('IBG' or the 'Company') Update Regarding Share Buyback On 21 June 2007, as part of the conclusion of its strategic review, the Company announced that it was considering undertaking a share buyback programme. On 30 July 2007 the Company announced that it had recently appointed Strand Partners Limited as Nominated Adviser and St Helen's Capital plc as Broker to the Company and that, in conjunction with its new advisers, it would continue to explore the desirability and feasibility of undertaking this programme. Any such programme would first require the approval of the Court for a capital reduction which would require a significant commitment in terms of both cost and management time. As a consequence, and having consulted with the Company's major shareholders, the Board has concluded that such a programme is not in the best interests of the Company at this time.
