RNS Number:6105S Internet Business Group 28 November 2003 Internet Business Group plc ("IBG" or the "Company") : Board Changes Introduction The Board of Directors of IBG (the "Board") are pleased to announce the appointments of Paul John Sherratt to the position of Chief Sports Retail Officer and Pierre-Jean De Villiers to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Change of Directors Paul John Sherratt Mr. Sherratt, aged 33 years old, joins the Board from his previous role of Marketing Director for Sweatband.com Limited. Mr. Sherratt is also currently a director for The Educational Software Company Limited and Sweatband Limited, wholly owned subsidiaries of IBG. Mr. Sherratt will replace Robert Porter-Smith who is standing down from the position. Before joining Sweatband.com Limited in June 2000 (acquired by IBG 18 October 2001), Mr. Sherratt spent six years at Sportline, the sole UK distributor for Head NV, where, following several marketing management positions, he was appointed the Divisional Manager of Distributed Products covering Rackets, Ski and Footwear. Mr. Sherratt's previous directorships held over the past five years are Sweatband Trade Centres Limited, Sweatband Publishing Limited and Sweatband Group plc. As at 27 November 2003, Mr. Sherratt has a shareholding of 303,129 ordinary shares representing 0.48% of the total issued share capital of IBG, plus options to acquire 630,835 ordinary shares, exercisable between 21 October 2001 and 21 October 2011 at 1.25p per share. These options were issued under the Executive Share Option Scheme 2000. Pierre-Jean De Villiers Mr. De Villiers, aged 29 years old, joins the Board from his previous role within the Company of Group Financial Controller, a position he has held since April 2002. Mr. De Villier's is currently a director for Mazware Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of IBG and was previously a director of Seatech Accounting Limited. Mr. De Villiers will also assume the position of Company Secretary. As at 27 November 2003, Mr. De Villiers has a shareholding of 200,000 ordinary shares representing 0.32% of the total issued share capital of IBG, plus options to acquire 50,000 ordinary shares, exercisable between 01 November 2001 and 01 November 2011 at 1.25p per share and 580,835 ordinary shares, exercisable between 31 July 2003 and 31 July 2013 at 2.125p per share. These options were issued under the Executive Share Option Scheme 2000. The above changes shall be effective from 30 November 2003. There are no further disclosures required under Schedule 2(f) of the AIM Rules.
