Can they .. yes!!! Should they .. yes!!! Will they ... ??? IRs in the UK are still historically low and yet more and more people are struggling with their debts. The MPC have dithered far too much with their decisions recently and I can only see IRs having to go up harder and faster to combat inflation as time goes on! It won't be nice for some people, but then nobody forced them to go out and buy that 50 inch plasma tv or top-of-the-range 4x4 on borrowed money!!!
