The real value of testing on human skin
Laboratory-grown skin, such as Labskin is created from human primary cells. The outcome of test results not only ensures safety but shows the real effect on what happens on human skin in the real world.

Animal tests have limited biological translation to humans
It has been scientifically reported that pre-clinical studies using rodents and other small animals have limited biological translation to humans due to differences in their biological responses and structure.

For example, there are differences in the anatomy, hair abundance and in the process of healing wounds. Human skin heals via the re-epithelialisation through the migration of keratinocytes whereas, rodents heal wounds by contracting the wound site.

Assessing skin's biological processes
Whether you are testing cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, sun creams, wound dressings and wound therapies, or household chemicals the use of lab-grown human skin offers the ability to investigate the effect of chemical corrosiveness on the skin, phototoxicity of substances and toxicity of various chemicals without the need of testing on animals.

The recent advances offer the capability of providing a reliable screening platform to test drug penetration across the epidermis into the dermal layer.

Will authorities prohibit pre-clinical animal testing?
Big pharmaceutical companies are driving the development of new drugs targeting the immune response and there are several going through the various stages of clinical trials.

This has become particularly important to chemicals being released within the EU as there are regulations in place, which prohibit the development and testing of cosmetic and pharmaceutical ingredients on animals. Clearly, the US FDA is also looking at upgrading their protocols.

Providing Skin Care, Not Skin Harm
Labskin is pleased to be involved in actively participating in providing development platforms for skin care, pharmaceutical and chemical companies to find solutions. Whether your products or research are helping alleviate the symptoms experienced by the millions of sufferers around the world, or you are wondering if your chemical product is an irritation to normal skin, call or email and get results from working on real-skin.

10 years of Labskin research provides extensive analysis of 3D tissue-engineered skin models to deliver a solution for your products.

80 million shares today plus Directors wages = dilution of the highest quality. Without doubt more funds will be needed & the only chance this has of going over 1p any time soon is a share consolidation, ie 1 for every 5000 held, which wont sound so silly given time.

That is one way of looking at it. Mine is that I was a Venn investor and set this up when I sold out in early 20's but kept Skin shares and am down a very small amount. However I like what the new CEO is doing. They said what they are going to do in their August, September and November trading updates. I don't for one second believe this is without risk, but I have bought in at an average now of 0.72p and am happy enough to wait to see how far it goes. And not a day trader

CEO comes on here pretending to be a caring & considerate, for well knowing TU was only released to bump share price for a placing he knew was coming. What CEO worth is weight posts on a bb, come on get real. If you guys want to believe the story then that's your right as is mine to sit on the fence until results prove so.

The 86715 paid 0.577p on Thursday.

Tell me in any stock where on a placing you cannot buy more than £500's worth all morning even at 10% higher.

Tells you where it's heading in time

reminds me a little of idp this one , next set of results will be very intersesting with cash behind them they can up the production and sell in more outlets , imagine a tie up with a high street retailer could do to the share price and profile

100k left at 0.5p

Seen this happen a lot of times, bad placings for struggling companies and they drift and trade lower but a placing for a company on the up the price will quickly reverse the initial dip/shake and then start to gradually recover with dips on the way.

My only gripe is a shame the boss who posts here did not contact me and let me have another £10k at 0.44p too, I tried this morning to get some kind of size under 0.46p but got absolutely nothing

Nice rise from the placing price, with the balance sheet more secure we could see a sustained rise now, with revenues very much on the up and the business in a more secure financial position.

Hopefully we can divest either or both TSPro and Visibile Youth for some additional cash and then things will really be looking up.
