Quite a nice prospect though of a sudden bounce on news.

I am optimistic.

More of a rambling commentary than a research note I would say. Comparison with Theranos is a bit of a give away quality wise by itself.

On the subject of CarVal; if INSG had any revs to announce from the launch of a qualifying fund where they are contractually paid a % of AUM, believe me, you would have heard about it repeatedly. That said, I think they do get some minor, non AUM structured, income from CarVal.

The problem is that ESG in the US is still suffering a negative reaction which has at least postponed the launch of any qualifying funds by Carval. It is anyone's guess when, or even if, this situation will change. I don't think INSG have shown much talent reading the tea leaves here.

Recent selling pressure might simply be Nico and/or acolytes locking in an excellent trading profit rather than any change in the potential that was signalled by the May 24 transactions

I think....and it's only a guess that a pivotal announcement will come out and two people in particular will be singing a different tune!

Though begrudgingly perhaps.

Why would they stay otherwise.
Rhetorical .

We really should be told if the Carval ventures are delivering revenues, they are contracts which were announced when signed some time ago

It doesn’t matter a jot if this is an “industry in the making!”
What matters at this current moment in time is that if Insig doesn’t sign some bloody big contracts soon with some juicy upfront payments to avoid more dilution then there might be not be a company to take part in this “industry in the making!”
imho

Not to do with INSG in the least.

So the stance remains yours....do you believe this is an industry in the making?

The answer will guide your trading.

As I thought it has been political.

'Blackrock has been a vocal champion of the ESG label, but Fink dropped the phrase from his 2023 letter to investors because it was becoming politically controversial.'

From City AM.

Well I am still in profit here despite the drop this morning.

I reckon there is plenty more to go in the future!
The market just has to catch up.

Let's hope so.

To finish I follow the stock market more as an intellectual interest.
I like to find interesting companies.
I am not a big investor but equally don't like to lose.

It is my choice.
I am sometimes wrong.
Each to their own.

PJ1

I am confident enough about my abilities.
Some people aren't though....I get that.
I wonder if you are one of those and feel the need to keep trying to put others down in an attempt to boost yourself?
Whatever it is let me reassure you that I understand balance sheets and have read the books.

PJ1 Many people told me I was wrong about Blue Prism PRSM when I bought it at just under 100p per share.
However it was eventually taken out at 1275 or something and I still held some.
I only post this as an illustration that you do not have to follow the herd.
I have had several taken out.

Computerland was more straight forward it had the kind of balance sheet you would prefer.
Some though were not such good offers when they arrived.
We each of us have losers of course, too.

It is sad that we have come to this but you are not doing yourself any favours in this constant whinging and trying to distance yourself.
This company's fate is not to be known by any of us yet, but it seems to have some good contacts and is on the 'approved' list.
Why don't you try to enjoy yourself?
We only have one life.

IMHO

Point taken because Insg has still to deliver - But - in the doubles match Bernstein & Rothschild the successful businessmen and investors should have more going for them than JJ and PJ who may only be prolific posters !

But why 'point taken' CH after such a good previous post?

Shares are about the future and future earnings.
Accountacy is about the past.

I would feel differently, if they appeared to be a company, that whilst had started off with good intentions, had got nowhere, despite a good background.
But there has been a lull in the esg whilst we have had the distraction of war.
What I see is a push and pull higher up with leaders' policies.

That is totally different.
To me it is an industry waiting to boom!

I have some personal conflict.
I feel the future of the zero carbon zealots....which is rather related...could be dictatorial and unevenly handed, but that is another discussion entirely.

I trade where I perceive the emphasis might be.
I could be wrong.
IMO
