TOPINFO are you holding INC come what may?..or do you have a stop loss?

We want market sentiment to pick up thats the problem, we could sell out and the market picks up..or equally we could hold and sentiment falls further.

What ya think?

Does anyone have some definite idea about when news 'may' be released. There was a rumour about a deal with Orange. Is this based on fact or just speculation? I'm holding for now because I think if there is some good 'news' they'll take off again, that's a fact!

No stock ever goes up in a staight line and INC is no exception. Lots of people will pull at 20% profit and this is obviously what is happening at the moment. Lets wait for news.
P.S. nothing in Shares Mag today

Watch out for news coverage this week in techInvest and a whole list of other tip sheets.

Should get the share moving northwards again.

Personally I dont think we are doing too bad today, with the NAZ down over 50 points and the markets in the red again INCITE is party to a slight bit of profit taking today thats all. After its recent good run people are taking profits but its not diving, which is reassuring. Personally I have not taken any profits yet, as I am confident that some news will come out of INC very soon and the upward trend will continue. I dont want to be out of the stock when this happens!!!

Info from AMR weekly newsletter.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK

Incite Holdings

Incite came to AIM in September 2003 when 21% of its enlarged capital commanded £1.5 million at a price of 25p. The lucky recipients were able, well before the end of the month, to contemplate a 100% capital gain – on paper at any rate.

Perhaps they deserve their luck. Perhaps the fact that the prospectus recorded that “…the Group has developed the Incite MSP, a scaleable mobile services platform based on proven technology (2G and GPRS) which will provide the Group with all the day-to-day operations required to support Mobile Services for multiple Virtual Operators with multiple content sources, operating on potentially multiple mobile operator Mobile Networks” set their investment antenna aquiver. Perhaps they have plenty of free capital left over from their previous investments in companies using technology and commercial nous to exploit interstices in new markets. Perhaps they are the same people that made a bomb investing in football clubs.

Bluntly put, Orange (for example), to whom Incite is affiliated, will pay for a new customer being delivered to them. So encouraged, Incite (which has the trade mark (((on!)))™ ) seeks Virtual Mobile Operators (Brand Organisations) which will of course provide the customers and specialised content; the ability to provide the service to be derived from the Mobile Network Operator (Orange?), and the specialised, bespoke services to be the province of Incite – for which the latter will of course generate its primary income source. The Brand Organisation will include its ability to provide Mobile Services as part of its marketing activities; Incite will develop a website for the organisation in question; and will man a call centre which will commence the sales order process to deliver potential customers alerted by Brand Organisations.

At this point it will not come as a stunning surprise to all that the cultural manifestation which is the prime target of the Incite team is no less than our very own Premier League. And the all-important reference site has been provided by the first client, “spurs(((on!)))”. Yes, Incite, which has no form of its own (a £150,000 accumulated loss) has linked with Tottenham Hotspur.

As the 2003/2004 football season got under way, Tottenham Hotspur proved to have but little form either, and well before the end of the same September that saw the Incite debut, had parted company with its manager. Perhaps the Incite shareholders will fare better.

regards oliver.

Well if this was INCITES profit taking day it wasnt too bad at all..For a tough week with the Us down alot these have outperformed the markets. Isf this had been a positive market week we would be at or close to a pound by now..Anyway INC seemed to do better this week when markets were generally down, hope it keeps that trend 2Moro coz FTSE is in 4 a rough ride!!

Guys, with a stock like this you really should use a Broker. Yes the commission will be a lot more but usually, in my view, there is not a great deal of difference in the overall outlay. Brokers tend to be able to shave the asking price or choose the cheapest MM whereas buying over the net usually incurrs the highest price, same goes for selling. Also they can advise on block sizes etc.
Must confess looks like some strange trades this afternoon
