09/9/2023 16:14 | Yes, I'm not so bothered about it though. At some point there was some to be a wall of sellers who were happy to sell at a given price range. If it wsnt here it might have been 135p or 140p or whatever - upside is that TIG are buying back the shares for cheaper | adamb1978
09/9/2023 12:52 | It's very frustrating to see that there must still be a seller about. I'm waiting to see a spike in volume one day, which could be a sign they're finally out. | cyberbub
07/9/2023 14:21 | Just seen that the deck and video from the capital markets day is now on their new shiny website | adamb1978

06/9/2023 07:41 | I suppose what matters it what the name change does for the share price! | slogsweep
06/9/2023 06:56 | Preferred Centalnic personally | doobz
05/9/2023 13:17 | Fair point, forgot that deal. Think it would have been better to go with a new name personally | adamb1978
05/9/2023 12:39 | CentralNic bought Team Internet in 2019. As that is now the largest component of the business, I guess it makes sense to use that name. | mcdougall1
04/9/2023 20:43 | Fair point cyber. Not sure the purpose of the 'team' bit | adamb1978
04/9/2023 17:47 | I haven't got a problem with a name change, just wish it could have been something more interesting, sounds like a name they would have come up with in that TV programme The IT Crowd. | cyberbub
04/9/2023 17:44 | Great to hear that Grant. Would love to see the presentation if they make it available somewhere. Whilst rebrandings are often treated sceptically, I think the CNIC > TIG change makes complete sense given the company is very different now in terms of strategy and capital allocation to the past, and therefore it somewhat draws a line in the sand | adamb1978
04/9/2023 15:53 | Apparently the CMD today was about as sharp and high quality as there has been at the LSE. Management were said to have communicated beautifully and finally given the kind of detail on each sub-segment that was lacking before... Very very chuffed for the management team; Michael seems like an uber nice guy who just adores running the company - apparently today he was just grinning like a Cheshire cat with proudness. Really is a great little story here and I'm not only wishing the team the best, but holding onto my significant holding. You can never be anecdotal in terms of conclusions but the sense I got was that the excitement of the management team goes a long way to showing that things are good here...go on TIG! | ggrantsu
04/9/2023 11:28 | Hi all, I've created a thread (my first ever in 15 years on ADVFN, woo hoo), after CentralNIC's announcement today about renaming itself. Hopefully the value in the company will start to show through in the coming weeks and months - good luck all. | cyberbub
04/9/2023 11:26 | !FOLLOWFEED This is a discussion thread created in Sept 2023 for Team Internet Group (TIG), formerly named CentralNIC (ticker CNIC - you can find old threads ). Please keep posts relevant and respectful. | cyberbub
05/12/2015 09:27 | Pentangle, it was me that was overly optimistic! Barclays are finally paying me on Monday, almost three weeks later than you! | b1ggles
20/11/2015 11:16 | What happens to TIG now, Will it still trade under another name, Cheers ?? | mckenzie one
18/11/2015 21:39 | Good going indeed! I wonder how long Barclays will take to launder the money. It's usually at least a day after everyone else. | b1ggles
18/11/2015 20:36 | Not overly optimistic B1ggles! AJ Bell credited my account in full today. | pentangle
17/11/2015 09:57 | That's a bit optimistic, pentangle! I had seen the date of 2 Dec as the payout date somewhere, which isn't bad the way these things go. | b1ggles
17/11/2015 09:16 | The shares delist tonight. Wonder if we will get paid out tomorrow. Hope so as there seem to be quite a few attractive alternatives at present to reinvest in. | pentangle
20/10/2015 11:05 | I haven't experienced a takeover before and would like some clarity on it. If shareholders do not sell TIG shares before suspension on 17 Nov 2015 (from Posting of Scheme Document 16/09/15), will shareholders automatically be credited at 40p per share, i.e. without contacting their stockbroker or doing anything else? Thanks | thotz
26/9/2015 00:23 | The bid will still go through - and there is unlikely to be another bidder, bid has the opportunity to pick up more shares at less than the offer price. | inki
25/9/2015 20:08 | I sold out this morning. I'd been holding out in the hope of an improved bid. This now looks highly unlikely. It'll probably go through at 40p, but there's now a real risk Carlyle pull the bid or seek to renegotiate down. If they pull, the share price would tank IMO. GLA. | techno20 |
