26/5/2010 20:16 | Re exceptionals On 4th December 2009 the TIG statement included the following. "undertaking a rigorous cost reduction programme, which was fully implemented in the year to 30 September 2009" And then we get another 3 million of exceptionals 6 months later. I was not expecting that. The annual report says the following about the exceptional costs in the ye 30/9/09 "In the year to 30 September 2009 a further exceptional restructuring cost of £2.6m has been taken. As noted in our period-end Trading Update on 12 October 2009, this is a one-off cost designed to re-size the businesses" | rmillaree
26/5/2010 18:52 | Gartmore have added almost 9 million more shares taking there holding to above 21%. Hope they know something we don't ???? | smig4

26/5/2010 16:55 | Nice rise today - Gartmore probably been adding more, decent volume. | n0rbie
26/5/2010 13:38 | I was hoping for better to be honest turbotrader but as mentioned, the second half of the year yields better results for them. Would have been nice to hear that they had parties interested in a buyout, regardless I think that's how this company will wind up in the next 6-12 months. | n0rbie
26/5/2010 12:36 | not the impressive set of results that I had expected (although Nedbank is an excellent win indeed and cash position is strong), likewise nothing of major concern (exceptional costs were expected), overall dull however am happy to continue to hold as they pick up speed in H2 (this will be the real test if all has come together and bring even greater confidence going into 2011). Well worth a look at their Investor Analyst Presentation on their website. Interested though on any broker notes, especially that talk of Investec upgrading from hold to buy. Also noting RNS just released, that Gartmore has increased their holdings further, to above 21%. | like2share
26/5/2010 12:02 | turbotrader. hi, There is no problem, today it opened down .25p large white candle thats good, it might even make an engulfing candle that would be bullish. I told you it was making a cup and handle, It has just finished making the handle. Cup & handles are BULLISH. See you at 20p. | mckenzie one
