24/9/2019 12:24 | Dear oh dear "Payments for product development/Intangib So they capex costs of their product development. For a company that is constantly developing products? Nonsense IMVHO. Cash generation miles below declared profit. Horrible IMVHO... | eezymunny
24/9/2019 11:27 | L2 anyone? | anony mous
24/9/2019 11:08 | No point being negative, Im surprised but these are decent results... Have to give credit where it is due. | littlepuppi7
24/9/2019 11:01 | Onjohn can't cope with positive explanations BB expect more doom mongering | coldspring
24/9/2019 11:01 | onjohn - a) It's Finncap & b) they're still forecasting £2M PBT in FY20 for a fast-growing company capitalised at just £13M with > £2M cash at 30 06 19. Hard to spin a negative with those numbers, though you're clearly intent on trying by ignoring hard facts & figures. For the moment at least, today's market strongly disagrees with you. | lord loads of lolly
24/9/2019 10:58 | The "downgrade" is purely because they've added all the expected costs of the new category into their forecast, but none of the revenues as of yet.I feel due to past experience they're being ultra Conservative with the numbers. | boonboon
24/9/2019 10:56 | Lol! OFFJohn | anony mous
24/9/2019 10:54 | £300k downgrade by fincap today Nasty! | onjohn
24/9/2019 10:43 | finnCap note on IDP available | pecuniarum copia
24/9/2019 10:42 | Totally agreed LLL. And the good thing is that this is now becoming a nice stable and steady recovery. Last thing i wanted to see was a major spike like MOS. Happy too see the daily rises as the media and market catches onto this buying opportunity. | wrecktangle
24/9/2019 10:38 | In the current climate, I think that sort of valuation would be a bit high for a retailer/wholesaler. But I agree the current share price is very much in the "glass half empty" camp. Whereas IDP's current prospects suggest an overflowing glass. | lord loads of lolly
24/9/2019 10:31 | Company share value should be at least x3 | amrishbhim
24/9/2019 10:27 | That may be, but they're still forecasting £2M PBT in FY20 for a fast-growing company capitalised at just £13M with > £2M cash at 30 06 19. Hard to spin a negative with those sort of figures. | lord loads of lolly
24/9/2019 10:26 | these were an absolute gift this morning. was following this company since skinny tan hype days in 2017, was trading a but only now comfortable to buy long - everything is looking rosy! | franki8
24/9/2019 10:18 | Broker downgrade today | onjohn
24/9/2019 10:17 | Can't answer for sure, but I believe Hong Kong can be a head office for South Asia region. So it could be a Hong Kong company but sales are in Indonesia or Vietnam for example. | boonboon
24/9/2019 10:12 | Looking forward to seeing how this pans out. Some of the market has noticed and I can see a bit of scrambling to get in under 100p but I believe this should be much much higher. A great post of LSE stating this was over 200p last year and now IDP has achieved double the net profit and floats at 90p. A great opportunity to make some dosh here. Good luck with your investment. | wrecktangle
24/9/2019 10:08 | tallprawn - Great - that would be very helpful, thanks! I appreciate you'll have your own questions for the AGM. But if there's time and you don't mind, an update on Prolong's regulatory approvals in Hong Kong, China, India, Canada, UK, Europe & GCC countries would be really useful. I'm confused Prolong's major distribution agreement refers to Hong Kong, when it seems they don't have regulatory approval there yet.... | lord loads of lolly
24/9/2019 09:59 | Could see this receiving opportunistic offer in short time frame, should valuation not truly reflect the current stage of the business, questions asked above about revenue recognition, assume reason they have been using third party distributor for goods, payment reflecting timespan between consumer paying for goods and IDP receiving payment! | bookbroker
24/9/2019 09:55 | WINS off the Ask now for the first time in a couple of weeks - Could be time for a proper move up soon. Hopefully that overhang is now sold through with today's volume. | tallprawn
24/9/2019 09:53 | Hi Lord - I did also read the note you've raised about recognising the date of revenues - It does contradict in some ways but I can't answer it fully though. The only point I can suggest in that is that IDP have outsourced despatch of most of their products to Synergy Retail in Northampton and they might have a commercial agreement with them that covers how payment/despatch dates are recognised and audited. I'll be at the AGM in a few weeks so will ask Joe Bayer for clarity. | tallprawn
24/9/2019 09:42 | tallprawn - Does the 2 day DTC revenue & profit rollover into FY20 make more sense to you than me? It's a small point, but note 1.5 in today's trading statement states: "Internet revenue - Revenue from the provision of the sale of goods on the internet is recognised as at the date that payment is received, because that is the point the buyer accepts legal responsibility for the good being sold." So why carry 2 days' worth forward, when it was paid for in FY19 (even if delivered in FY20)?! Also, what's other peeps' take on Prolong? The 6000 min. order qty for first contractual year in HK & Middle East is great news, given the high share price & 65% ave. GM. But I'd expected a more concrete announcement on regulatory approval in the UK, Europe etc. Instead, all we got was: "Outside of the US, Australia and New Zealand where the Company already has regulatory approvals, it undertook regulatory approvals process for Hong Kong, China, India, Canada, UK, Europe & GCC countries". That doesn't fill me with confidence! | lord loads of lolly
24/9/2019 09:38 | Very nicely worded there BB - How long for that penny to drop! | tallprawn
24/9/2019 09:32 | NT to buy. I think the market has missed this one in hopes of chasing rainbows on MOS. This is an extremely strong update and one that should propel this well over 100p. DYOR - great information being posted between ADVFN and LSE boards. | wrecktangle |
