I've bought many times last two days, got big chunk of p/f in here now

No rush to buy as the general markets are just starting to correct, to the Compsny to soothe some twitchy investors nerves.

Blame the holiday blues before they have even started, right back to my afternoon prawn sandwiches & warm prosecco

Just as I suspected, my BUY at 15.43 is shown as a sell!

I would not mind betting that anything up to 50 per cent of todays so-called sells are really BUYS..

Smacks of desperation (and greed) on the part of those old M MS!

PLEASE DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY THEIR ANTICS!NOTHING HAS CHANGED AS FAR AS THIS BRILLIANT COMPANY IS CONCERNED!

P S Has anyone else had BUYS go through as sells.! Please check and report back!

I have just bought another tranche of IDP shares. (too good an opportunity to miss!)

Just waiting to see if it shows up as a BUY or a sell ( I am far from convinced that all todays sells are actually sells!- I know a lot of the tricks that M M,s get up to!)

With the benefit of hindsight I would have keep my short running longer to partially hedge my long position. However positive news on a number of fronts is likely fairly soon and should cause a sharp upward movement in share price

I guess the question is - do we believe further growth in ST is likely across distribution channels & territories, and do we believe the newer and pipeline products will provide further profit growth?

I'm backing HC and gang to design more great products and market them in the brilliant way they have with ST.

Remember only the price at two points matter - the point at which you buy and the point at which you sell. What happens in between matters not...

FWIW the volume today is much bigger than usual. It may be that a few that were banking on news and buying on T are now selling.The next news will send this exponential, so I'm well relaxed.

The IDP share price normally rebounds on Friday afternoons!

PS This is now all getting very silly. We are at the complete mercy of the MM,s !

However,when we get the next sales update which should make very good reading ,buyers will pile in again and WE will once again be in control.

Make no mistake ,the system for setting the day to day share price is very wrong and unfortunately there are many people such as Remarc and NY Boy ,who have learned how to milk the system for all it is worth on popular shares where there is a fair amount of activity and which have an active forum

Any else agree with me ?

Correct Richie. The PE ratio is way off benchmarks, and that's ignoring the exponential growth ahead. Vertical and horizontal growth.8 brands and counting, rapid global expansion.

I feel they are dropping ths back for a placing around 260/285p at best 300p, we'll see, just my observations of how PI's getting shafted by Companies. I take what they say with a pinch of salt, too many second hand car salesmen disguised as management.

On ths cash burn.... at the interims in Feb 17, IDP reported a loss of £154K.
At 31/12/16 cash was £701K. This was augmented by 2 placings before period end raising £1.34M

So with the increase in sales, I don't think we should be too concerned about placings based on business as usual....unless there is acquisition activity which will enhance the value of the company.

I'm a LTH here now so not going to worry too much about falls like today. Comes with the territory of illiquid smallcaps unfortunately. Maybe some fun for the traders though!
