19/12/2007 17:33 | No trades today - I thought you would have picked up a handful today Kenny? | sat69
18/12/2007 20:35 | Good post Kenny - thanks. Maybe you should be thinking of getting in tomorrow! I believe we have hit the bottom and the share price is way oversold. Also no stamp duty on these babies! sat | sat69
18/12/2007 20:17 | posted this on the other board but this one seems more active so copying here Well according to the wiki the first film is a super success. Does not look like huge amount of cash but should cover the production costs plus royalties from sales of dvd's and music should keep on rolling in into the future. I for one will be watching to see what happens to the next films. I have no position but it does not look as bad as you shorters are indicating. India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, This could be a good way to get exposure in an interesting way. Its early days. kennyams - 11 Dec'07 - 17:59 - 71 of 72 edit Been doing a bit more digging, this is a good site. In India jab wi met has grosses about $8 million In india so far. kennyams - 11 Dec'07 - 18:08 - 72 of 72 edit Its also got $850000 in the uk. so Should gross over 10 million in total at the box office. No Idea if this is good for an indian film but I would have though it would cover the production costs (assuming about £4 million since they spent 12 mill on 6 films). should be a bit of profit as well Plus this is now a asset on the books going forward. So since this is there first and 90% of indian films are failures according to one poster. This lot have done a bloody good job or been very lucky. Interesting to see how well the next one does. | kennyams
18/12/2007 15:31 | Remember christmas is coming up so might be a few profit takers... I only lost £60 so I'm not to fussed, 72p damn ;) hehe. | tlee05
18/12/2007 15:05 | No probs - I don't expect to be in it for long myself, but I won't be selling at a loss! | sat69
18/12/2007 14:11 | I knew you was going to clock it...;) Low volume companys scare me! I do believe 75p would be my current target but after working out risk vs reward with such a small amount of money involed I felt it wernt worth it... IMHO. Just think if a largish sale goes through we would be looking for a new low... This was my main worry. | tlee05
18/12/2007 14:03 | TL - Surely you haven't sold out already? | sat69
18/12/2007 13:39 | OK - I clocked your 3540 shares. My principle with these smaller companies is to get out as soon as I have made a small profit! | sat69
18/12/2007 13:21 | 2.5k in cash not shares ;) So I got 3540 shares altogether. Sat I hope your right, Low volume shares scare me... ;) | tlee05
18/12/2007 13:04 | I would have though we should see 75p within a couple of weeks. | sat69
18/12/2007 13:03 | Hi TL Your 2.5k trade has not showed up in the trades. Difficult to put an exit price here for me. As there is no sd to pay, I only need a 1p rise to break even! I generally look to get out within a very short period, so even a 2p rise might see me out, but I can see the share price going much higher as these have been oversold. sat | sat69
18/12/2007 12:57 | Sat sent you a message on the other forum ;) | tlee05
18/12/2007 12:38 | Ticking up today. 3 trades gone through already! | sat69
18/12/2007 12:37 | Sat I have picked up after following you advice ;) Drop looks OTT expecting a small gain nice spot. Shame about the small volume. Only a 2.5k punt. | tlee05

18/12/2007 12:10 | Mali, I just joined you today with my first trade here. Bought in at 70.9p (Trade showed as a sell!) Good luck to all longs. Hopefully this is the bottom. sat | sat69
18/12/2007 09:27 | Hi All, following this share, Have been watching these since just before the float. At Float read Investor Champion independent report, which had a buy rating on float - although wanted to check market reaction first. Anyway had an aim to get in around 75p, but got in today at even lower. This company does have some of better films that bolloywood will be releasing soon, so the pipeline is one of the better ones. Yes, Bolloywood release 1000 films and few are blockbusters like Pharm industry - 1000 drug trials and few block busters. Anyway one difference are that Bollowood movies are cheap to make compared to Holloywood movies, so most of them do recover their money back. Another positive point is, Bolloywood movies are recession proof! Why? Well Indians love their films and Bolloywood fans watch movies no matter what the situation. Finally think current level should be near bottom with also HSBC investment adding almost £1million additional shares. However know that in general in current market there are a lot of short postions open, but for this share downside pressure should be limited from here, as they have some good movies on pipeline. DYOR. | mali7
17/12/2007 20:25 | I suppose this didn't help ... LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Indian Film Co Ltd posted an underlying loss of 489,000 stg in its first six months of operation | sat69
17/12/2007 20:24 | ...and now at 70p. A fresh all time low. | sat69
14/12/2007 21:57 | Closed at 75.5p - an all time low :-( | sat69
