10/3/2011 07:07 | Some good news at last, but not the deal we are waiting for. Probably talks were stalled in anticipation of this approval. Must be good for the share price today, and medium term imo. | the_beagle

05/3/2011 10:09 | Borrowed from the SEA post (ref Randlewel) Three British offshore project sales in 2008 demonstrate the increase in value as development progresses, says Joel Staadecker, CEO of independent developer SeaEnergy Renewables. He points out that developer Fluor sold its 50% stake in the post-consent 504 MW Greater Gabbard project off Suffolk in the east of England to its joint venture partner SSE for £40 million, including development costs, in May 2008 - a value of £157,000/MW to be installed. At financial close in November that year when all the contracting was completed, SSE re-sold the 50% project share to RWE for £143 million, or £567,000/MW. Meantime, Vattenfall had bought the 150 MW Ormonde project in the north Irish Sea just prior to financial close for £340,000/MW. | htrocka
03/3/2011 18:14 | Yes sir, clear as ... | mangal
03/3/2011 16:42 | I'm only posting it for reference because its a useful piece of information. I think typically you can expect LF of around 30% to 40%. P50 indicates a 50% chance of those LF's. | dcroston
03/3/2011 09:56 | Is that good or bad? | the_beagle
03/3/2011 09:29 | I asked a question on this board which I didnt get a response to re load factors. Anyway I found out the publicly quoted LF's for both projects are as follows. Gadag Project: 24.8 MW capacity P50 plant load factor: 25.7% Theni Project: 16.5 MW capacity P50 plant load factor: 33% | dcroston
03/3/2011 06:12 | all of yesterdays `sells` got soaked up....bodes well. | htrocka
02/3/2011 11:30 | Well buy some then! When you were last a short term holder did you not watch the penny movements? Every penny is a thousand pounds to me, so it does mean something. | the_beagle
02/3/2011 11:26 | You people make me laugh. Always reacting to a penny move here or there... You are either comfortable with the company and your purchase price or not. If the bid comes it will be north of 40p in order to get shareholder and management acceptance. The stock is an interesting punt again at this level. | baldeagle5
02/3/2011 10:13 | And leaves again this morning. 1p drop on no trades. Dead duck? | the_beagle
01/3/2011 11:17 | A bit of life returns this morning. Every little helps, as they say. | the_beagle
28/2/2011 23:27 | Congrats to those who have banked a profit. Are we experiencing a healthy correction? Stumbled across a competitor today CEL Haven't read up on them yet, will do this week! Anyone else been following them? IPO'ed October 2010! | showmethehoney

28/2/2011 15:03 | Hi Simon. Agree there is not much to post about atm. Following the activity last week I thought we were getting somewhere, but today's slide suggests there is nothing imminent imo. Will sit it out for a while whilst looking fo a new home for the cash if I sell out. | the_beagle
28/2/2011 13:43 | I am still in beagle, just havn't posted. | simon_64 |
