Some good news at last, but not the deal we are waiting for. Probably talks were stalled in anticipation of this approval. Must be good for the share price today, and medium term imo.

L I ....You should have bought. According to ADVFN they have been at least 28p bid all day, and went 28.5p bid before the close on the 4 X 10,000 purchases, which were a welcome surprise. I hope he knows something!

Borrowed from the SEA post (ref Randlewel)

Three British offshore project sales in 2008 demonstrate the increase in value as development progresses, says Joel Staadecker, CEO of independent developer SeaEnergy Renewables.

He points out that developer Fluor sold its 50% stake in the post-consent 504 MW Greater Gabbard project off Suffolk in the east of England to its joint venture partner SSE for £40 million, including development costs, in May 2008 - a value of £157,000/MW to be installed.

At financial close in November that year when all the contracting was completed, SSE re-sold the 50% project share to RWE for £143 million, or £567,000/MW.

Meantime, Vattenfall had bought the 150 MW Ormonde project in the north Irish Sea just prior to financial close for £340,000/MW.

I'm only posting it for reference because its a useful piece of information.

I think typically you can expect LF of around 30% to 40%.

P50 indicates a 50% chance of those LF's.

Is that good or bad?

I asked a question on this board which I didnt get a response to re load factors. Anyway I found out the publicly quoted LF's for both projects are as follows.

Gadag Project:
24.8 MW capacity
P50 plant load factor: 25.7%

Theni Project:
16.5 MW capacity
P50 plant load factor: 33%

Well buy some then! When you were last a short term holder did you not watch the penny movements? Every penny is a thousand pounds to me, so it does mean something.

You people make me laugh. Always reacting to a penny move here or there...
You are either comfortable with the company and your purchase price or not.

If the bid comes it will be north of 40p in order to get shareholder and management acceptance. The stock is an interesting punt again at this level.

Hi Simon. Agree there is not much to post about atm. Following the activity last week I thought we were getting somewhere, but today's slide suggests there is nothing imminent imo. Will sit it out for a while whilst looking fo a new home for the cash if I sell out.
