02/12/2009 10:14 | Well thanks for the lesson Clint, I, very much like Jaylett, enjoy being patronised like that, in fact it wouldn't be Xmas if some old duffer like you didn't patronise me. BTW - your wrong - there have only been 2 RNS's in the whole of 2009 (not 10 per year as you suggest) and one of those RNS's was the half yearly results (zzzzzzzzzzzzz!!) so in effect there has only been ONE Rns in 2009. And that in your opinion is perfectly normal! Your experience of listed companies must be pretty limited in that case. Merry Xmas to you as well. | chrismez
01/12/2009 21:20 | Chrismez - With all due respects, RNS's cost MONEY. Why pay extra money, to release news that is already in the public (Investors / Shareholder) domain. Indy have released 30 RNS's since 2006, average of 10 ish a year. EWR & TNM probably many more. Problem here is the news, or lack of it, is not what some people want to hear therefore it is ignored. I for one would be overjoyed if an RNS came out tomorrow that shot the share price into orbit, but , in the real world, it rarely happens. Especially when people want it to. If it did we would all be filthy rich, accused of being witches and put to the test on a dunking stool. ( I know thats an urban myth by the way, no historical fact to support dunking stools ever existed) What 'WE' have invested in here is speculative potential, that may, or may not come to fruition. Thats Life / Investing. Sometimes its good, thrilling and a buzz other times its sad, frustrating and damn disappointing. So stop self harming, there are only three decisions to be made 1/ Cut your losses, lick your wounds (Learn) for next time 2/ Sit tight and believe that your initial decision to invest was the right one. 3/ Hedge down by buying more in the hope of realising a profit at lower share price (Only for the experienced risk adverse investor) Sorry to say it, but DYOR dont rely on an old fool like me! Kind Regards & Good luck to you and all. Merry Xmas and a Happy new year to everyone and their families. (Including Jaylett) Clint | clint2006
01/12/2009 18:38 | Actually this is a disgrace. This company is actually worse than some others I know of ... and I thought they were bad! One complaint in particular is that INDY doesn't keep its shareholders/investo It would be a matter of simplicity itself to every now and again release an RNS saying so and so company has just started drilling or so and so company has merged or so and so company has just gone bust ... you get the drift. It really is an exceedingly poorly run company. Excuse me whilst I go outside and bang my head against the wall. Note to self ... research management more thoroughly next time. | chrismez
01/12/2009 17:23 | At last!!! The pretender has left the building!!! | clint2006
01/12/2009 16:48 | Yawn. Quite the Sherlock Holmes. I can't be bothered to respond to the majority of that, mainly as I have no interest in what you think or think you know. My holding is at .65 however, so not quite on the spike but not on these levels either. And I wish I was on the sofa. Ta ta Jay | jaylett
01/12/2009 16:18 | I see the east west deal with Rainy mouintain corp is going ahead. | flojo
01/12/2009 15:39 | Jaylett - Your ignorance , obviously knows no bounds. Quite obviously your expectations reflect your ability to research. I'll be adding a few more at this value. imo Leave you to guess (Research!!!!) how much I hold. Answer only a few clicks away, if you can be bothered to get off the sofa. Been an investor !!! for 25 years, made a bundle and lost a bundle but still have enough money left for xmas prezzies. Guess you'll have to learn the hard way, no teaching some people. That smug enough for you?????? Best regards, and good luck to all. Clint | clint2006
01/12/2009 15:13 | It will do and achieve precisely nothing. Hope that helps. Jay | jaylett

24/11/2009 08:36 | Clint, thanks for your patronising and sactamonious post. Out of interest, do you actually hold here? And if you do, do you have confidence that the management are activity working to increase the company's value, and therefore provide value to shareholders? If the answer to that is yes, which from the tone of your post I assume it is, how are you aware of that in the absence of any meaningful update to the market for many months? I am a patient investor, and at the time I bought in I liked the look of the story here. What I wasn't aware of was the total lack of regard the management of the firm has for private investors. Given the track record of those running the show, the lack of news is leading me to make conclusions. I would dearly love to be proved wrong. A 'long-term' investment doesn't automatically mean PIs should be kept in the dark. Jay | jaylett
21/11/2009 21:13 | Clint - I'm not hung up on the biofuels deal - personally I think biofuels to be an extremely bad idea, especially when it impinges on the food supply - only someone with the brains of George Bush could champion it! No offence intended and none taken. I invested in INDY ... errrr ... must be 2 years ago now, possibly more, and I did so on the basis that one of the companies INDY invested in, was into Uranium exploration. Since then I've been doing a pretty good impersonation of Jobe himself. Patience like you say is indeed a virtue in this game, but there always time for a little humour as well - wouldn't you say? Cheers and good luck to you as well, CM | chrismez
21/11/2009 10:28 | If the coach runs on biofuels we could do the planet a favour and send that over the edge at the same time !! | chrismez
21/11/2009 09:45 | Don't worry CHRISMEZ, driver supplied and pickup service included... pmsl!!! | clint2006
