From what I've seen in the past it is quite normal for companies in difficulties to carry on outwardly as normal as long as possible. A recent exception to this has been Persimmon Homes' announcement that they are suspending new builds for the time being.

I just get the feeling its market forces at work. Few sellers deciding to sell out, but no buyers to take up the stock and so the share tanks.

They are also in the process of acquiring some property management companies.

All very odd, talk about the company going under and all the while they are still acquiring.

ti,

Gave up speaking to them a long time ago.

On the face of it the deals look OK, but knowing this lot, there is more than meets the eye.

This was one life's bad decisions.

Not only that I was told the Dumfernline has just increased their credit line for more acquisitions. Why do that if its about to go boobs up ?

Why did the Dumfermline lend on the last purchase if everything is going pear-shaped?
Most of the lenders are belt and braces just now in particular a mainstream lender like the Dumfermline.

Oh, from my last comment - the current commercial market is very quiet - thought I would keep peoples spirits up.

Well theres not a lot now the directors can do.The share price is so low even after reorganising the share capital they wouldnt get a placing away. And if tradings as bad as the share price suggests not much point in issuing a trading statement either so it looks as though the last man had better turn the lights out.

The Caplans must be mightily pee'd off accepting all those shares in lieu of hard cash. I know MC has more than a few, but do we know if the rest of the Board have any shares(I couldn't spot anything on the IHGP website)? Ideal time for them to show some support....

I said I had a feeling this was going under not it is going under.Big difference mate .!
If the share price is anything to go by then you could presume the companies in trouble especially in the current market .

I'm not bothered either way CW. I am thinking of buying as a quick punt. Just wanted to make sure what you were saying had any substance before I decide to take a punt.
