08/1/2023 20:59 | Phil I don't want a nuclear power plant on my doorstep lol, no way, and ily be glueing myself to the road in protest. Give me geothermal on my doorstep anyday, how would you like a nuclear reactor plant down the bottom of your road lol, your full of idea's lol. Tell me would you want a nuclear power plant down your road?Chernobyl disaster comes to mind, that would contaminate half the country for a 100 years plus, if fracking is thought of endangering the environment I'm sure radiation contamination is a million time's more harmful to the environment so I'll be in protest against any new nuclear power plant. I sign how about you? | deltalo
08/1/2023 20:01 | We're number one Choice to drill for green energy and deliver geothermal in this country, I expect others will join as its a massive job, I'm all for reducing are carbon footprint so I'm all for geothermal energy. I have a voice also. | deltalo
08/1/2023 19:40 | Phil, I already said that earlier, to get zero carbon by 2050 is near impossible. But as I said that every little helps and geothermal used in major cities will help considerably, just as it does in Paris. Wind and solar will always be a big part of the energy supply but it takes a hell of a lot of energy to deliver heat, solar on every roof will not be enough to heat your home, winters with low light and cloudy sky's, frost and snow on the panels, any climate activists really look into these problems or just want to make them feel better as they are the major culprits, See one play one lol, oh god | deltalo
08/1/2023 19:23 | deltalo - zero carbon by 2050? Don't make me laugh! Geothermal isn't going to power all the UK electric cars Government is trying to switch us to buy or heat millions of UK homes. Only nuclear can do that and we are way, way behind on that. And, Putin has shown how energy policy can be thrown into chaos. China and India lapping up his carbon exports to use in their own energy gobbling industries for decades ahead. They couldn't care less about zero carbon despite being, by far, the biggest producers. So, zero carbon by 2050 is stuffed. Finally, NIMBYs elect local councillors who grant or deny licences for anything controversial. Climate activists can't touch the NIMBYs. Let's see what happens. | philgyuk
08/1/2023 18:49 | Climate activist's surly realise that geothermal is the best way to deliver heat to are hospitals, businesses and homes, I mean what's wrong with it, it shot have been done years ago and it's great for reducing are carbon footprint, a few tremors and idiots are moaning lol, can't please everyone that's life. The one's who are complaining about little tremors are the one's climate activists need to target as their trying to stop are only way of delivering zero carbon by 2050. So I'll back you on that one. | deltalo
08/1/2023 18:30 | Phil, I appreciate your comments but a few small tremors 4k beneath the grown is very slim to having an excavator digging foundations for homes and businesses abou ground, have you eva felt the ground shake from those machines as I have and my old house was shaking. Nobody seems to bother about that but is it ok with you? Zero carbon by 2050 has to include geothermal, how else will we heat are homes with no carbon, please answer that question as we're all ears. | deltalo
08/1/2023 17:37 | This is probably the best stock for the next year or so massive upside | kirk 6
08/1/2023 17:30 | I see a massive potential for this company now we have SSE backing us, Geothermal is the way forward for this country and this company, as stated in recent interviews that igas is the number one leading company in geothermal for the uk and we're here to deliver for one of the leading energy suppliers "SSE" and that says it all. Are mkcap is 20m so imho this share price could explode on first drill announcement that's expected this year Q1. All holder here know the potential and other's will join us very soon, Atb. | deltalo

08/1/2023 14:02 | If the whole market is a scam what are you doing here ? | waltzing
08/1/2023 13:53 | deltalo - no need to be rude and patronising - this is a discussion forum. I've no doubt that fracking is more disruptive than geothermal but the fact that the Eden tremor was felt in St Austell doesn't bode well if the NIMBYs decide to demonstrate and try to stop it. Read the article and educate yourself. | philgyuk |
