03/10/2019 19:27 | DXC need IDE and IDE will make a mint from this tie up. I expect a lot more to come. Inc new deals not even connected to this one. IDE is about to explode out of the blocks. This is why MXCP and partners invested a fortune to save the company. They did not do it out of sentiment. | chimers
03/10/2019 19:16 | "Can't earn anything if there's nobody to do the work The latest recruiting drive is for apprentices who haven't even passed their core Higher subjects (or whatever they're called this decade). Not enough knowledgeable staff left to train said apprentices, so yeah. Going well, that." | chimers
03/10/2019 19:14 | DXC has more work to hand over to IDE than 50 IDE's could ever hope to cope with even if DXC were their only customer. This is why IDE. It is very lucrative work for IDE and it is my guess DXC will want them to do more and more and more. DXC is having major problems worldwide servicing it's customer contracts and has to sub out the work to teams that can. DXC save on staff costs etc and they lose a bit in fees but they get their work done. IDE pick up the slack and there is an endless pit of slack. Here is what a few DXC clients have to say... "Can't earn anything if there's nobody to do the work I work for somewhere that has outsourced IT support to DXC. We can't get projects done because they haven't the staff to do the work. We can't get problems fixed because they haven't got knowledgeable staff to fix problems. We've actually set up a first / second line support desk because it's more effective and cheaper to do that than to rely on DXC, although we still pay them for one. I'm sure there's more. Basically we can't shovel money at DXC because there's nobody at DXC to actually do the work so it's no surprise their revenues are falling as these companies traditionally make money on changes and projects." | chimers

03/10/2019 18:55 | Furthermore, we were very pleased to enter into a new partnership with another global IT services company during the period, and the first project under this new partnership commenced post-period end in August. We believe there is significant potential for growth with this partner and look forward to updating shareholders in this respect. | chimers
03/10/2019 18:54 | Already our level of engagement with our key customers, including a large international outsourcer, has immeasurably improved. In addition, we are being awarded extensions to other contracts and have commenced new projects which we expect to grow over the coming months. | chimers

03/10/2019 15:34 | DXC have been under a lot of pressure recently they cant service all their contracts properly as they have been cost cutting and paying of staff to save money. However they are still a very profitable multi billion dollar company. One of their solutions seems to be to "SUB CONTRACT" their work to someone who can handle it. IDE. Massive contracts with long term income and IDE don't have to waste money sourcing these contracts for themselves. Its being handed to them on a plate. A lot more to come I'll be bound ;) | chimers
03/10/2019 14:52 | IDE are helping them with their work. | chimers
03/10/2019 14:51 | Created by the merger of CSC and the Enterprise Services business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, DXC Technology boasts a long and proud history of innovation, service and value. In 1959, computer analysts Roy Nutt and Fletcher Jones pooled $100 to form CSC, providing computer manufacturers with complex programs known as assemblers, compilers and operating systems. During the next five decades, CSC grew rapidly to serve governments and enterprises worldwide. In 1962, Electronic Data Systems was founded in Dallas, Texas, by Ross Perot. EDS, a pioneer in IT outsourcing, grew from Perot’s initial $1,000 investment to a global enterprise that helped 500 million passengers board planes, processed 13 billion credit card transactions and performed 2.4 billion healthcare transactions. Hewlett Packard acquired Electronic Data Systems in 2008, and soon created HP Enterprise Services, focused on transforming enterprises and achieving measurable business outcomes. In November 2015, Hewlett Packard Company split into HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and the Enterprise Services business became part of HPE. Through their histories, both CSC and HPE Enterprise Services were known for evolving to keep pace with the ever-changing world of technology – and for offering clients a fresh perspective built on a rich heritage of innovation and industry-leading services. Today, the strategic combination of these two complementary businesses creates the world’s leading independent, end-to-end IT services company. With around $25 billion in annual revenues and nearly 6,000 clients in more than 70 countries, DXC Technology is uniquely positioned to lead digital transformations – creating greater value for clients, partners and shareholders; as well as presenting new growth opportunities for its people. | chimers

02/10/2019 15:26 | Let me be clear I will be posting about IDE's new partners DXC and their other new contract wins. IDE can either RNS it or I will be posting about it. That's their choice. We nailed another one by the way. I shall discuss it in more detail over the weekend. STRONGEST BUY POSSIBLE ;) | chimers |
