Sunday Mail today reporting on 30k capacity stadiums anticipating business again from possibly April. I know the US has raging infection but so did we a few weeks back, now Trump has backed off they will address that.

Management were very cautious in their recent statement but if business starts returning faster than they thought sentiment will push the share price further upwards. As long as they flag it, which I presume they would, under promising and over delivering always goes down well.

There's also pressure coming onto insurers to cover events against covid now that vaccines are a reality and for govt to underwrite such cover. Just talk at the mo but that would be a boost too.

NY Boy - Those are my thoughts too. I think we are heading for a melt-up. The Dow is higher than the start of the year, the FTSE is 16% down. One little signature on a Brexit headed document and the FTSE could gain 1500 points in a matter of days. You do not want to be out of the market when that happens. Despite me hating the giddy headed idiots on here spouting nonsense and being rude, I agree that this is probably the place to be and we could still multi-bag from here. I just hope that the flaky balance sheet doesn't get in the way.

Just one other relevant point is the acquisition of Grocery shop and Shoptalk in the USA , which was for huge sums of money, How are these companies which are part of Hyve surviving the huge spike in the virus across the whole of the States, are they a further drain on the company ?

We have had an amazing run up from .50, mainly newspaper write ups and the shorts being cleared, therefore people will now take their amazing unexpected profits, also the shorts have finished , so no more buy backs, therefore they will fall back to mid 90's, which is still 100% increase from a few weeks ago ... the worry for this company is the huge, huge debt they are carrying with constant interest and charges being levied, even with trading coming back next year , hopefully , and insurance payouts which are almost complete now, how can they ever reduce approx.£350,000,000 of debt, ?. If the concept of mass gatherings for seminars , exhibitions etc. becomes a thing of the past as with defunct cinemas etc. that the virus has completely destroyed how will they ever produce income and reduce their debt, Life will take a different form in the future and social gatherings could be one of them... we enjoyed the good short uptick, make the most of it ...

The market says up, best not be standing in front of it, don’t fight the trend, there will be pull backs along the way, providing more opportunities, the whole market is in a confident melt up, Santa rally under way, as long as a smooth and effective Covid vaccine roll out, more good news to follow imo

This share will be 200p end of the year. Not much posting from the ones who bought low as they are enjoying their gain.

But the miscreants who missed out coming out with their "insights" now when the train has left the station.

Maybe not 140p today perhaps next Tuesday or Wednesday.

visionary warrior - blocked.

My dad died two months ago by the way from covid so thanks for asking...

Amazing how the free loaders who can't even afford a subscription get so angry and turn to rudeness.

So about the intangibles. Does anyone have a view?

'The insurance policies we have in place have given us greater financial security. We will continue to work with our insurance providers on claims made that have yet to be settled as well as any future claims, should our 2021 event schedule continue to be impacted by government restrictions arising from COVID-19.'

This suggests that future events that are disrupted in 2021 might also be covered by insurance?

Shorters getting nailed, they are going to a very hot place for an eternity (300p).

Would be nice if we closer to 140p today. Then Monday we attack 150p.

Accepting Trolls operate why don't some folk read the results! You will see the company is fully supported.I repeat clear blue ahead.

The insurance policies we have in place have given us greater financial security. We will continue to work with our insurance providers on claims made that have yet to be settled as well as any future claims, should our 2021 event schedule continue to be impacted by government restrictions arising from COVID-19.

As a result of the measures we have taken to date, and in light of the ongoing uncertainty as to recovery in our markets, our decisive cost management initiatives have provided significant assurance over the Group's future and given us clear visibility of cash funding, even if no further events are able to take place in FY21.
