22/7/2010 15:11 | When I bought I thought a P/E of 10-12 was a fairer level. That would give circa 380p to 450p - I would therefore think that any bid would need to be at a premium to the 450p to even be considered. NAI | greenroom78
22/7/2010 15:10 | Certainly, this stock is derd cheap forget the bidding etc. | trendfloor
22/7/2010 15:06 | Nice. I wonder if bid speculation is coming up again - though as others have said the price is cheap on fundamentals alone. | rivaldo
22/7/2010 14:52 | There she pops. CR I think we have you new recent high. | greenroom78
22/7/2010 13:12 | been firming up on the bid all morning - new recent high coming here imo. CR | cockneyrebel
21/7/2010 14:34 | typical exit multiple is about 0.7 * revenue - so at least 50% higher than here - 500p is a nice round number that said, i have had to exit temporarily today due to a need to commit funds elsewhere | wcjan26
21/7/2010 11:24 | When I decided to buy in at 299p I did so because I felt HYC were trading on a low P/E and felt there was room for significant price movement without a bid (I set a target of 400p+), the prospect of a potential bid was extra insurance. Just wondering what people would value the company at if a bid were to come in (current MCap around £135m)? | greenroom78
20/7/2010 19:13 | david. did some further research today and it looks like HYC is 45th biggest company globally in its sector. that sounds like prime consolidation fodder to me scott wilson is/was 55th on the same list the bidders for scott wilson were CH2M (28th on list); URS - the winning bidder - is 23rd; there are loads of potential buyers here... let your winners run | wcjan26
18/7/2010 16:09 | just checked my acct, i bought at 77.6 not 67, it was 26/03/09, a fine return, i'm not selling, its the only stock in the SIPP with above a 350% gain against it, i just cannot bring myself to sell. Probably the most stress free purchase ive ever made and not wanted to take a profit, normally if i see a decent profit i sell, not sure what went wrong with HYC. Can see £5 here within the next 12 months. | davidwilkin
16/7/2010 15:32 | another 40p in short term davidwilkin, from the chart at least | wcjan26
16/7/2010 13:34 | my purchase at 67p in my sipp looking rather good, lol, wish i'd re-mortgaged the house - didnt think i would see 350p though. | davidwilkin

12/7/2010 20:41 | CR: agree entirely, reckon management are pretty good by all accounts and IMO they have probably sensible undercooked this to ensure "some up the sleeve"...and agree that T/O a distinct possibility. | qs9
12/7/2010 19:51 | Made a new recent closing high today - going to be a big spike up when these start to clear this level imo. 375p then 407p before too long imo. CR | cockneyrebel |
