Missed the hugh rise up here.....but this didnt dip much and too me if we break through the recent high of £4.15 then we are into blue-sky territory and to my mind anything could happen thereafter. Im even wondering if might even see something like £10 here ? | cfro

11/9/2010 11:31 | Mark Slater - 31/7/10: The Fund's largest holding is AIM-quoted Hutchison China MediTech. Its core Chinese healthcare operation is a strong player in OTC and prescription traditional Chinese medicine with market leading products and a broad sales and distribution network. The healthcare business has grown its revenues at 29% compound for the last five years. We expect revenue growth of 20% per annum over the next five years, driven by the expansion of State healthcare provision from its current low base and growing consumer spending power. The share price values the healthcare business on a modest PE in relation to the rapid growth rate and to the pharmaceutical PE multiples in Hong Kong and mainland China. It also completely ignores the company's net cash pile and its other very valuable operations: one of China's leading drug R&D businesses and an organic foods joint venture which promises to become a very significant contributor to profits in the coming years. For a Western investor, there is the added comfort of being under the protective umbrella of the giant Hutchison Whampoa group. | simon gordon
