In conformity with Rule 5.6 of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules we 
would like to notify the market of the following: 
 
 
The Company's capital consists of 41,367,829 redeemable participating preference 
shares of 1p (excluding treasury shares) each classified as US Dollar 
Shares, 18,807,349 redeemable participating preference shares of 1p each 
(excluding treasury shares) classified as Sterling Hedged Shares and 11,437,819 
Euro Hedged Shares (excluding treasury shares). 
 
 
Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 41,367,829 for the 
US Dollar share class, 18,807,349 for the Sterling Hedged share class and 
11,437,819 for the Euro Hedged share class. 
 
 
The above figures (41,367,829 for the US Dollar share class, 18,807,349 for the 
Sterling Hedged share class and 11,437,819 for the Euro Hedged share class) may 
be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they 
will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to 
their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
