Issue of shares


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for 1,360,000 Redeemable
Participating Preference Shares of 1 pence each designated as US Dollar shares
(the "US Dollar Shares") to be admitted to the Official List and to the London
Stock Exchange for admission of the same number of Redeemable Participating
Preference Shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The US Dollar Shares
will be issued for cash at $1.79 each and will rank pari passu with the existing
Redeemable Participating Preference Shares in issue.


Dealings are expected to commence in the new US Dollar Shares on 31 March 2006.


Following the issue, there will be 40,041,829 US Dollar shares and 9,221,869
Redeemable Participating Preference Shares of 1 pence each designated as
Sterling Hedged shares in issue in total.
