Inmaculada Delivers First Production
Hochschild Mining plc today announces first dore production at the Inmaculada project in southern Peru. The processing plant is already operating at approximately 80% capacity, in line with its commissioning schedule, and is expected to ramp up to design capacity in the next few weeks.
After initial tests with lower grade material, reserve grade mineral is now being fed through the circuit as part of its on-going commissioning. First production of precipitates was achieved on 1 June and first production of dore on 3 June. The operation is on track to achieve the 2015 guidance of between six to seven million silver equivalent ounces (approximately 73,000 ounces of gold and 2.1 million ounces of silver).
