$18.20 was a test. Imho it will take a couple of tries to break past it but what we are experiencing right now is the Yanks trying to hang on to their paper petrodollar system for dear life but it isn't going to help them when fiat is called to account.

I normally don't think so short term, but I went in big on the silver breakout over $18.20 in this and other silver related investments. It was a stupid thing to do in hindsight. I never have any joy in buying breakouts.

Break the whole sector is unloved and under priced. Rest assured when gold and silver zoom back up this will too, as will RRS and HGM and others. It's just sentiment toward gold and silver. There's nothing wrong with this company. The price changes yes but the operations are sound. Read the financial reports on the company website. The share price is not a reflection of the health of operations.

Look where this has come on the long term chart.

Stop thinking so short term.

If you want to get rich and risk losing the lot buy Bitcoin.

Gold will come roaring back and so will HOC. Watch it happen.

DT, I agree with you, this begs the question why one would invest in an asset that has an overleveraged downside to the price of a related asset? If silver goes back over $18 (we are not far off) will this shoot up over 300p?

Breaktwister has been posting here regularly and is understandably upset by HOC's price action which bears little correspondence to the fall in the PM prices.

We should all be able to agree on that.

I never said that this is a fraud shakey, u moron, reread the post. I said the "price action" is indicating it. Yes, miners have been hit across the board today but HOC has been hammered all week, down over 15% while silver is only down 25c. And this on top of the 20% one day fall due to strong peso. Not a normal or rational price reaction.

As I said earlier it takes a lot less to drive down the miners than the POG.

ODR. Interesting that sentiment on the CEY board echos that here. It seems funds are acting together to drive the prices up then down on a regular basis.
Just look at the jagged saw tooth HOC chart for the past 9 months.
Does that look normal to anyone?

Look at FRES, RRS too. KAZ, AAL as well. Miners weak. Oil a bit stronger. The metals will come back in due course no doubt. HOC does seem to get hit a bit harder than some at times!

NK trundling their liquid fuel toys about(see zero hedge) so got a few and will be buying on further weakness as will move faster than I can buy. Could fire off in NK darkness today or by monday.

Price action here is saying that this company is a fraud. no other way to explain it. NK mobilising, PMs surging and this is tanking.
