GBP and JPY jump on Gold bandwagon as Elliot Wave patterns hold for our favorite Pet Rock.

The pattern continues in Gold, with last week's move reaffirming the wave count Enda is using below. Friday's rally puts the market right above the high on the 30 minute chart established in the previous "5". The next "1" would be completed if gold pierced the $1271.21 level. After that, any retracement that holds $1259.78 further confirms a wave seeking final extensions to the $1550 area. A drop below $1247 at this point puts into question the pattern, but does not negate it.

Happy to hold solidly above 280p before a long weekend tbh. 285p would be a bonus.

I just wonder if Trump and May could have discussed doing something again against IS this weekend, if a suitable target is located? That would play well with her voters and, aligns with Trump's call for more NATO action against them as they are, in effect, attacking NATO with Manchester, Westminster, Paris, Nice, Berlin et al...

Which would make PMs prepped for Tuesday morning. Getting carried away probably but with Parliament in recess the Government can have a fairly free hand and probably wouldn't be too condemned.

It needs something because the grip on the PM prices, especially silver, since the NK and MOAB weekend around Easter when $1280 and $18.40 were spot prices, has been quite tight. Depending on the Yanks, who also have a long weekend I believe, silver probably needs to go above $17.35 for us to approach £3.

But here's hoping, eh?!

Bitcoin LIKE a tulip bulb? 13% crash this afternoon, that looks suspiciously like a blow off top to me. Watch it return to its intrinsic value IMO.

I don't agree Bitcoin will be outlawed. There is a big future for crypto currency, not all the different types on offer now but a handful. It's the nascent alternative to fractional reserve banking which has clearly not worked. Good and silver will always be valuable, precious and rare. But those who say Bitcoin is like a Tulip bulb are over simplifying and expressing quiet anger that they missed the boat entirely.
