Silver is rising so far this year due to investment Company buyers. ( Kitco, silver thread)

The most recent annihilation came after London close, let's see if the same happens today.

Shakey re: miners decline, I think this was caused by profit taking on the ETFs. It wasnt only HOC, a number of US miners got hit, JNUG was down over 10% today but it has bounced back a bit.

What the hell's going on?

Why the volatility?

In particular, the HOC chart appears to show a temporary 30p drop at mid-day yesterday. What caused that?

The sale price of the Eduardo stock is still at the high end of recent share price averages for HOC, its certainly not negative, but it probably ensured the gap fill.
Now a slight drift of a few more points too.

HOC has bounced very strongly off 254 or whatever the low was.

Are metals about to get smashed again? I can't see any PM miners selling off massively bar HOC, although this seems like more of an opportunist hit.

New rule for trading HOC, no more opening positions until the afternoon. Too many times I buy higher in the morning.

The underlying operational business is unchanged.

Miners selling off across the board. Same action that occurred a few weeks ago when the crooks sold billions of paper silver on london close.

Pillion,
As far as I understand it, HOC is only listed on the LSE as part of the FTSE 250.

Drop way over done now, no real reason for it to drop below 270, quite surprised it has.
