12/10/2016 21:32 | Hi everyone. Thanks for all the useful information. What stop-loss would you recommend tomorrow morning for some of my shares (in case the report/silver has a negative impact). | stocknoob
12/10/2016 21:27 | DB I have a chart for 2.13 but not sure the locals are ready for it ! | saturdaygirl
12/10/2016 21:24 | If silver shows weakness tomorrow, Hoc will also show weakness regardless of report, be it positive or negative. All in my opinion. | daybreakers
12/10/2016 20:50 | Thank You for your input everyone, really good thread this lots of decent people giving there input..... Cheers M. | marcusm1000
12/10/2016 19:41 | Charles it hasn't dropped anywhere near as much as some but I think that it the uk pound effect. Btw it's not results tomorrow it's a production report. | dilbert dogbreadth
12/10/2016 19:24 | Marcus - I expect the results will be good which is why I have been buying aggressively on weakness. Apart from lower pm prices I can't fathom out why this has dropped so far back in a couple of months but I guess that's life. Really like that bull flag indicating the next price target - £5+ | charles clore
12/10/2016 19:12 | Thank you budevenwiser and mikkydhu i`ll check them both out, I thought it was 2.30 but could`nt find it on Hoc`s site before! So what`s peoples thought`s on the result`s tomorrow? 12/10/2016 16:12 | marcusm I have posted a few links recently , some may say to many ! Try - | saturdaygirl
12/10/2016 15:03 | Silver and gold showing a bit more intraday strength and HOC treading water! Tomorrow will hopefully be a more positive day for HOC after this relative weakness! | lauders
12/10/2016 14:49 | US: FOMC Meeting Minutes due 19:00! Could boost PMs. | simonthe1st
12/10/2016 14:23 | bud we agree on that, I've been talking about 4-5% inflation for the UK within the coming 12 months between devaluation, rising cost of imports, both raw materials food and machine parts, and rising oil price. And it would prove to be a big game changer in the face of zero rates. Should rates rise to 4 or 5% , it would help savers but, is not on the cards for 2017. | hectorp
12/10/2016 13:40 | gold just spiked to 1250 but bounced off it. Hopefully that's the last we will see of 1250! | hectorp
12/10/2016 13:38 | shaky - So that they can then have leeway to cut in 2017 if they need to. Otherwise, further cutting infers negative rates ( aka Japan etc) bud - will answer on the AG thread Afternoon chip. :-) your 7434 sustain purchasing power you and me both. PM's owned by sterling zone denizens. | hectorp
12/10/2016 12:58 | Tim I am certainly not wishing for it! Just pleased that I am holding lots of PM-related assets at a time when Sterling is falling. When all is said and done, the aim is to NOT lose purchasing power. Holding cash and many other assets in Sterling through 2016 has been a losing proposition, whereas good PM assets have both risen in USD terms and have additionally fully hedged against the falling Pound. 12/10/2016 12:54 | Bud - maybe the dollar strength will speed up its inevitable collapse. Nobody wants to be on their knees because of another country's criminal manipulations do they? | charles clore
12/10/2016 12:45 | Cheers Chip So like I said it puts lipstick on the eps and makes them look better. Another thing be careful what you wish for ,I hope we do not end up at parity with the dollar because we will be paying a lot more for fuel food and everything else . tim | budevenwiser |
