24/10/2024 09:34 | Interesting! What was the price of Altyn when he said that? Any more information on this company and is that ramping on his part or is there really multiples of hidden value there? 20x is a very bold prediction from a CEOFor sure some of these minnows will certainly explode I think - but the bigger more established companies like Hoc and Fres should do also multiples from current levels - just look at spot prices now to what they were when setting historic highs many years ago. All IMO DYOR etc etc | r1singson
24/10/2024 09:17 | The CEO of LSE listed gold miner Altyngold (ALTN) said at the company's recent AGM that he expects the share price to x20. HOC is not in that league as elephants can't run but with PM's now in a bull market we should see a return to 600p as in 2011 in due course. | stevea171
24/10/2024 08:29 | Got to be on the radar now for potential take over.Wonder if that's Eduardos game plan heading in to retirement | knocknock
24/10/2024 08:19 | Personally, unless a US govt gets hold of the debt levels & shows a desire to start repaying it, the $ will continue to weaken. HOC: I still think is just the wrong value, especially as we head into 2025 and yield and low/no debt for the company with commodity prices staying high with geo political risks still weighing.... 24/10/2024 07:16 | It's been in the making a few years now. Soon, China and co will pull a Russian method 'pay in our currency only' | putinaire

24/10/2024 07:10 | BRICS bank note unveiled at the BRICS summit, Kazan, yesterday. US$ as reserve currency on the way out .... Many Central Banks buying gold for their reserves. | stevea171
23/10/2024 16:01 | So no more selling now right? sub 245s. What prices do you hope to see and buy in the 'for the moment' retrace? | putinaire
23/10/2024 14:44 | Hoc was stretched momentum wise . Whilst my target exceeds 300 -330 and most of the current broker updates I too don't get too caught up in believing things go up in a straight line . Let it retrace and there add if you can as I think it will be a solid buy . I sold some at 245.75 2 days ago . So clearly happy to see it retrace . I held from 96 . And did some swing trades too . In 12 months time all will be happy no doubts | onedb1
23/10/2024 13:28 | profit taking in silver seems to affect silver stocks more in % terms .Struggling to hold 3400 at the moment but I doubt the bull market in silver is over and this is just a healthy correction IMO . US physical markets open in 2 minutes and let's see what will happen | arja
23/10/2024 10:39 | Personally I'd let the Yanks confirm any thoughts. Bad place to be having your own 😂 | putinaire
23/10/2024 10:38 | So I take it you all bought more around 250? Hard to be so positive and only hoping others buy. Anyone? | putinaire
23/10/2024 10:36 | Interesting take on the update so far. Different at least | putinaire
23/10/2024 10:35 | Thanks Stevea171 I would have expected 2025 to be much higher tbh, but that will do especially when set against the EV valuation, the EV/EBITDA multiple is too low surely? DYOR I also am taking a bet on them beating 2024 FY forecast.....DYOR | qs99
23/10/2024 10:21 | Need the Yanks to hit 260s or its a fall back for a bit | putinaire
23/10/2024 10:18 | 4* Hochschild Mining posted a strong production report for the 3 and 9 months ended September 30th this morning. It was the Group’s strongest quarter in almost 5 years and comes at a time when precious metals prices are soaring, a powerful combination for revenue performance. The Group posted a strong rise in production in the 3 months, 69,996 ounces of gold, 2.2 million ounces of silver, 96,327 gold equivalent ounces and 8.0 million silver equivalent ounces. 9 month performance was also strong, 173,748 ounces of gold, 6.3 million ...from WealthOracle wealthoracle.co.uk/d | martinmc123

23/10/2024 09:09 | Peel Hunt: ".. At Mara Rosa, which reached commercial production in May and which impressed us at last week’s site visit, gold production increased 80% QoQ to 24k oz. The plant is now consistently operating at full capacity, and HOC expects to see volumes similar to September output through 4Q and a strong end to the year" That would be approx 108k oz annual run rate. It seems last week's site visit by Analysts to Mara Rosa was well received and is a factor in HOC's share price recent surge and improved volume. Mara Rosa's move to full production is perfect timing for capturing the surging gold price with low costs of production. Average Annual AISC: US$950-$1,000/oz Au. | stevea171
23/10/2024 09:01 | Restart of dividends pretty much nailed on for next year imo. Full year guidance maintained after strongest quarterly production in almost 5 years Eduardo Landin, Chief Executive Officer said: "Hochschild Mining's third quarter has been the strongest in almost five years and we expect to meet our full year production target. In Brazil, our new Mara Rosa mine has been steadily ramping up to full production rates in the period and the Inmaculada flagship mine in Peru has continued to deliver the benefits from our continuous improvement programme. Furthermore, given the current strength of our balance sheet, we were able to repay approximately $45 million of debt. With the current metal price momentum along with the forecast strong production in the last quarter, we can look forward to further robust cashflow generation." | stevea171
23/10/2024 08:50 | Sounds idilic,it's not bad here too. | petebreeze37
23/10/2024 08:43 | sounds similar to Perth temperature wise Pete and can hit over 40 here in the summer months . I always go for a swim early in morning or in late afternoon to avoid getting skin cancer as OZ is capital of world for that and often it is the "poms" as they lack awareness . Quite a few nice beaches near our house in the northern suburbs :) . Now time for a jog around a large park nearby . have a great day | arja
23/10/2024 08:36 | Hi arja, thanks for the platforms. I agree, I tried trading some 20 years ago but like you say, you have to be glued to your monitors. Here on the Costas, you want to be out and about, it's fantastic for outdoor people. But it's too hot in July aug and most of September, churning out 35 to 38C most days and some years we can have some days low 40's. 40% of all water here for drinking and agriculture comes from desalination. Ps yes the royals are not very popular in Spain more so because of the revolution. | petebreeze37 |
