13/8/2020 15:45 | You waiting to buy after results Hector? | saint in exile
13/8/2020 15:19 | really took off in last 30 minutes or so and did the wrong thing by selling half at 273 ! ( wry smile ). It cab really move occaionally as happened when it rocketed to 292 the other day . 278 seems to be a stumbling block at the moment | arja
13/8/2020 14:36 | really and nice to know as I rarely hsve time to study the fundamentals . I just rely on charts for trading . It is trying to pick up at the moment | arja
13/8/2020 14:36 | Fill you boots at 270 Hector. Bizzare price given the gains in PMs this year. | breaktwister
13/8/2020 13:47 | arja, I know that HOC is widely regarded as essentially a silver miner whereas in fact gold accounts for roughly 50% of revenues since Immaculada came into production. c | crosseyed
13/8/2020 13:21 | I notice HOC gets hit by a seller or sellers on every mini rally and must be a big player who wants to exit . It again does not react to silver price and when I exit I will just trade silver with a spreadbet or a CFD as seems to be much safer | arja
13/8/2020 12:16 | crosseyed, thanks for that information. HOC has picked up from early low but not reacting much when silver price shot up and in fact came down as it happened ! hard to figure ! ( smile) | arja
13/8/2020 11:11 | IF silver merely remained at $25 an ounce all year, HOC would be 400 plus. I doubt we shall see silver lower than $25 after this month again- ever. I'm looking forward to picking up some HOC in the coming week. | hector_p
13/8/2020 09:48 | arja, As I said, I don't use SLV. It was just a possible site comparable to GLD. I tend to use the Charts option provided by BullionVault ( bullionvault.com ) which provides live mean prices by precious metal and currency directly derived from actual trading on their platform. In addition one can observe the current Bid/Offer prices. It is free to use by anybody though I like the site for trading bullion. c | crosseyed
13/8/2020 08:05 | SLVR is denominated in dollars I notice crosseyed | arja
13/8/2020 01:36 | 105-YEAR CHART: Gold price vs stocks shows metal still cheap Frik Els | August 12, 2020 | 4:37 pm Markets USA Gold On Wednesday the gold price regained some of its footing after the unceremonious $100 plunge to below $2,000 an ounce yesterday. Gold for December delivery closed at $1,926 an ounce in New York after falling as low as $1,874 earlier in the day. Action on financial markets shifted to US stocks with the S&P500 briefly trading above its all-time closing high of 3,386 set in February. The Dow Jones ended at 27,976, back to within shouting distance of its peak, also reached in February. This 105-year chart of the blue chip index from Macrotrends tracks how many ounces of gold it would take to buy the Dow over any given month. ... | risa5
12/8/2020 16:16 | Try 3SIL, its in $, 3 times leverage daily ETP, so you could win or lose 3 times daily silver price movement, I've never used them. | risa5
12/8/2020 15:46 | Possibilities are SLV and PSLV, Don't use them myself. c | crosseyed
12/8/2020 15:39 | Which one is it for silver. Gbs is for gold. What's it for silver | spacedust
12/8/2020 14:26 | even when silver price goes higher, HOC does not react or moves lower ! hard to figure and again shows why it is perhaps better to trade the commodity itself or an instrument which mirrors the silver price movements such as GBS does with gold . | arja
12/8/2020 13:23 | Thats true Hector. After yesterday it does look like they are in control again. | saint in exile
12/8/2020 12:37 | not sure what happened after that to make it fall back so far as silver price has recovered a bit ! funny things happen in markets sometimes | arja
12/8/2020 10:39 | HOC and the other good miners will rally again, but the large Comex players are back in control of silver and they still have many short contracts they want out of, so they force the price down as yesterday showed. This may happen again in the coming week or so. I am therefore in no hurry to be long HOC today. | hector_p
12/8/2020 09:31 | Race to get back in now! | saint in exile
12/8/2020 09:10 | silver price recovering and HOC took off and now in auction ! Something happening ! | arja
11/8/2020 21:50 | Hmmmm.... Silver down almost $3 after close... I suspect we might be red in the morning! :-o. :-( | cyberbub
11/8/2020 16:45 | Added on the dip. 10% discount today, a bargain. | breaktwister
11/8/2020 15:17 | Up 40p one day down 30p the next this share is all over the place. | kibes |
