16/10/2018 09:49 | DT, I bet it really moves when Silver goes through $17 - $20 area. I feel an even bigger move, possibly a further doubling will happen when $25/$26 area is breached - 2019? Happy to hold and wait. Meanwhile - + 1% - + 10% days very possible.... :-)) | goldenshare888
16/10/2018 09:45 | Don’t worry. Just hold on. This will rerate. It might take a few years that’s all lol | dt1010

15/10/2018 20:47 | There are distinct signs of the PPT shoring up activities in the US markets Friday and again today to prevent any repeat of what happened last Wednesday (-800 Dow) and Thursday (-550 Dow). | stevea171
15/10/2018 16:09 | Seems so. FRS & CEY doing much better. | ifthecapfits
15/10/2018 15:46 | Yes indeed... I might chuck in a couple of grand to average down the little ones ISAs...in near future... but I do honestly think there’s a rally coming for broader markets in Nov and Dec....and if so...good and silver will drop again....maybe then Will be better timing | dt1010
15/10/2018 15:19 | Hoc just being held back at present....cant help feeling there is a bigger move coming shortly. ;-) | maximoney1
15/10/2018 11:38 | Global Markets Continue To Fall As Bloomberg Warns “The Next Financial Crisis Is Staring Us In The Face”… 15/10/2018. It looks like it could be another tough week for global financial markets. As the week began, markets were down all over the world, and relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia have taken a sudden turn for the worse. That could potentially mean much, much higher oil prices, and needless to say that would be a very bad thing for the U.S. economy. It has really surprised many of us how dramatically events have begun to accelerate here in the month of October, and the mood on Wall Street has taken a decidedly negative turn. Yes, U.S. stocks did bounce back a bit on Friday (as I correctly anticipated), but it was much less of a bounce than many investors were hoping for. And this week got off to a rough start with all of the major markets in Asia down significantly&hellip But what happened in Asia was nothing compared to what we witnessed in Saudi Arabia. The Khashoggi affair. At one point the stock market in Saudi Arabia had plummeted 7 percent after news broke that President Trump warned that the Saudis could face “severe punishment” for the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. One Saudi official is warning that the price of oil could rise to “$100, or $200, or even double that figure”&hellip | stevea171
15/10/2018 08:40 | Gold and silver looking frisky this morning. US Indices falling through their 200 DMA's last week before some recovery on Friday. Dow closed below its 200 DMA Thursday but Friday bounced back to close above. S&P500 closed below its 200 DMA Thursday but Friday bounced back to close on 200. Nasdaq closed below its 200 DMA Wed & Thurs but Friday bounced back to close on 200. Transports closed well below its 200 DMA Wed, Thurs and Friday. Russel 2000 (Small caps) closed well below its 200 DMA Wed, Thurs and Friday. etc. Asian markets down another 1-2% this morning in overnight trading. Technically and fundamentally it's not looking good for markets this week so we could see more panic with flight to PM's. | stevea171
15/10/2018 08:17 | Banj - that is true for all PMs | charles clore
14/10/2018 17:09 | Dogberry - There is enough fortune tellers on this board but never seem to get it right. You should teach them how to read the leaves ! | risa5
14/10/2018 09:41 | Echoes of 2006/7 when they lined up everyone to ridicule Schiff when he predicted the sub prime financial disaster in 2008, | onedayrodders
13/10/2018 06:37 | The market will sell off further.....then rally to new high in Dec/Jan.... All pm’s should been sold along with miners in March 2009 and Nasdaq stocks bought st that time and held until recently. That was the investment to be in. Miners will have their day again but not before they have dropped further. | dt1010
12/10/2018 21:34 | It's all about protecting your dosh. The markets rolled over and that is a danger sign that all is not well. | davidspringbank
12/10/2018 19:21 | GS888-your words of wisdom haven’t been so wise. We can all see this has been tanking for over a year. Needless ramping isn’t helpful. | richkid71
12/10/2018 17:07 | Well, well, what to do? DT is convinced its going down but gs888 thinks the opposite, perhaps. What we do know is that it peaked in July 2017 and downhill since. What I'm looking for are reasons, or evidence, that it will reverse...and peak capitulation isn't one of them as that is rear view mirror stuff. If the trend is your friend then it can be argued that a quid is possible...this deflationary winter. Sell and buy back? Might make sense. Might not. The secret is probably in the volume and if it's trending down so will this share. Plenty of cash out there but no evidence that it's going to be spent. Quite the opposite. 12/10/2018 16:30 | Risa5 is the modern Albert Steptoe and I claim an old tea pot from you - for reading tea leaves. | dogberry202000
12/10/2018 16:27 | The same rampers/fortune tellers who were predicting 550 or more are now predicting gold will skyrocket very quickly to $1450 etc. Enough is enough we've heard all those baseless predictions before... Some people never learn. | risa5
12/10/2018 15:45 | DT , I agree. No way Dow will be allowed to fall before these elections . Everything is rigged | juju44
12/10/2018 15:37 | Trump does not control the world DT, he may think he does, but that is different. Expect the unexpected. | goldenshare888 |
