All,

My understanding is HOC is NOT being removed from GDXJ, just reduced. The weighting is going from 2.5% to around 1.9%. The rebalancing happens between 9th and 16th June, so no doubt there will be some trading between now and then. Interestingly, there are some even bigger reductions such as B2B gold and Pretium. Just don't buy the GDXJ if you want small cap miners as you'll be getting a lot of mid caps too!

If anyone hold CEY, they are not currently in the GDXJ (they are in the larger GDX) but the GDXJ will be introducing a 3% weighting.

Yeah, I heard the rumour about HOC reducing on the GDXJ as well.

It looks as though they are buying more though? On a related note, Alamos Gold at 5% (biggest component) made the grand total of $0.1m in Q1, or $0.00 per share! Less Company highlights and more lowlights IMO.

Exactly DT, it does not matter what price today if you do not need/plan to sell today.

The big boys know this only too well............

HOLD/BUY at this level is my tip if you have spare funds.

dmitri you are right it is, along with many others. But we don't worry about such things. We concern ourselves with next year and the year after. Silver floating around the $15-16 isn't going to last in this mad Trump era. This sell off is merely building value for the next leg up. Seen it all before loads of times.

The US gold miners on my list all finished blue last night and this morning blue starts for most of the UK goldies too .....

Good stuff SG..that's what we want to see, let's hope it continues, just fear in the run up to June 16th Fed hike that PMs will get sold off further even if they bounce a bit in the mean time...summer is a poor time for PMs traditionally...still I have a little powder dry in the event we see much lower prices.

HOC anticipated performance next year makes these and any lower prices a no brainer for long term investment.

Off topic: My SHOP doing well now $86...tipped to me at $70 as "like buying Amazon at $4.50 in 1997"...by David Gardner.....Amazon now trades at....$949....with an mcap of $451 billion.

What were we doing on June 27 1997? Amazon shares were $1.49...I remember where I was...penniless about to go and work for Lloyds Secrutities. If only I'd borrowed £5000 lol and bought Amazon.

Shopify is capped at $8 billion - a minnow. BUY it and never sell it !!
