Needs to break 300p to encourage the traders, bots and momentum players to push it up to 400p with little resistance.

None of the miners are yet reflecting the move up in gold and silver but on a 6-12 month view I expect HOC to be much higher. The sector is massively under owned and only options for institutions are RRS, CEY, FRES and HOC.

I bed and ISA'd my holding yesterday, so will hopefully see HOC move up strongly now gold and silver are breaking out.

They could but I sense the Yanks and the world are just waiting on the data not necessarily concerned about what it reads.

In other words, they need to be tremendous and wage related info is much more important anyway.

Consequently, as ever, I see the upside coming through either way but arguably this afternoon. New tax year and a weekend for buying PMs and related while selling off other assets?

As ever we will see.

Any day but NFP or a Fed day we would have been touching £3 but I sense a period of let's see the numbers first applies before everything is decided direction wise.

Anyone who can do that doesn't have to have balls, they're just a psychopath. There's absolutely no evidence that I've seen that this was actually done by Assad's forces. It doesn't make any sense for him to do this. It just gives Americans the excuse they need to do what theyve wanted to do from the outset.

Anyone who can sit down for dinner with the Chinese President and calmly order an attack with 59 Cruise missiles has some balls and only 4 people killed . I won`t mention the 80 or so chemical weapon deaths that your "taste" has just glossed over...

My point is if i was sat in North Korea today Trump has sent a powerful message that even while dinning with your greatest ally he means business .. its like missiles buy one get one free !

Maybe Trump is smarter than you think..

It won't. They'll just keep printing more as rates rise to cover the additional interest payments. It's called rising inflation.

And it can't be cured by rate increases.

But the story will run and run.
