14/10/2016 07:58 | Exactly, and at leaset that way you do not get caught out by a sudden surge in SILVER & GOLD! WHICH CAN AND WILL HAPPEN! This could go up 50% in a day. I have held PM stocks that have 7 bagged in day! :)) | goldenshare888
14/10/2016 06:58 | Longer term hoc, silver, gold will do well. If not trading, just ignore the daily movements and just hold or add on weakness. | daybreakers
14/10/2016 01:48 | DT1010 - This article would seem to agree with your longer term viewpoint: This article looks at factors that will affect gold and silver prices as we go forward. We have to say they are considerable and will lead to our conclusion that while the gold price has fallen through support below $1,300 and now stand at $1,250, we see the fundamentals taking the price back higher and much higher over time. Indeed we do see it rising through its all time peak in the next year and beyond. We will also highlight the fact that such a rise will occur in all currencies as they weaken against the gold price. I cannot trade as I am not obviously as clever as SG, so I have to offend him/her and just buy and hold. What a sin! I have bought at several prices from around 90p all the way up to 320p. Last was around 270p. Overall I am up but of course I am down quite a lot on my most recent purchases. I hope I can wait for the strength to return and for those upcoming dividends too. Had one already ;-) | lauders

13/10/2016 20:59 | Yes buy the bottom , not the downfall ! | saturdaygirl
13/10/2016 20:52 | Or you could wait for the bottom and then buy . That`s a no brainer not to catch the falling knife and squander your cash ! You seem to have topped up from £3 to the current level ..every top up must be in the red ... Great investing ! And i thought Clowns were now illegal in the UK. | saturdaygirl
13/10/2016 20:20 | The mentality on here is far too short term My children have these in their isa(s) I do too. So does Mrs. And we also have them in the SIPPs Are we concerned about day to day direction? We know the longer they stay low the more we can buy. No brainer. | dt1010
13/10/2016 18:30 | But it could be very much higher than 270 very soon! | simonthe1st

13/10/2016 18:05 | Many short term gamblers betting on good results today will have taken a quick profit at around 270. | simonthe1st
13/10/2016 17:55 | Hit 270 briefly after 8am, oops could not bring myself to sell some. Generate cash to buy later. take care sattyG probably has a graphical point! | edjge2

13/10/2016 17:40 | Dissapointing that HOC closed only 3.5p up following the strong and better than expected Q3 Mining Production Results today but it closed up only 3p when the Q2 figures were released in July and one week later the shares had soared 25%. | simonthe1st |
