I ha e to say guys and gals, even I don’t see $1240 holding for gold. I think gold is going much lower, which means silver is, which means this is, IMO. I just can’t see the argument in the current US political environment why that. Shouldn’t be the case. That said, US tech is some way off its highs thanks to a recent sell off. I guess this market is more about capital preservation than anything else. Cash pays nothing but at least it doesn’t drop 5% every day.

I can moan if I want. People are entitled to given all the ramping that goes on with this share. Just like you just did with OPTI.

This has been curtains for months, it’s just been a slow curtain down.
People notable in their absence speak volumes. I’m sure GS would see this as a top up investment. Looks like trump doesn’t like gold after all !

off topic

DT1010 my long term investment for my kids has gone into OPTI
It's worth a look and if you can understand the science and the business model, the next few years and beyond are going to be very very good.

Massive pivotal point for GOLD (and PM's) $1240

If it holds, long term upward support lines still intact, if it falls through convincingly, then it's back to years away.

How about support at 25p

At least my kids have 20 years to wait

This has been an appalling investment for them.

No end in sight for this honk of shyte

‘So unfair’.

Glad I sold my silver at the end of last year. Long term hold could turn into....forever

Come on...anyone fancy bidding £5?

Golden gone quiet

Isn't it options expiry for PMs after London closes? Are the Bs waiting for that?

Think I can guess juju's reply to the comment 'where the price is likely to go' - 'where the bangsters want to take it'

I meant 16$ , not 13$ and now that they have moved it there , they will probably allow it to go up again so I have taken out a long on silver

The Dow has fallen to below the 200 DMA the past couple of days then closed right on the 200 DMA. Today it has fallen decisively through and closed well below the 200 DMA. If it does not retake this level tomorrow we may be in for more sustained weakness in the markets. The Dow Transports confirmed the action in the Dow closing below its 200 DMA as well today.

The PM's are continuing down as expected. May start reversing some time next week?

20/6/18. Now 3 weeks on from my last PM charting commentaries. Gold has performed as expected with the cartel stepping up the take down for the summer slumber. See what happened a year ago for both gold & silver.
End of June, like end December is another benchmark that's approaching when the cartel like to 'paint the tape' with unrepresentative low readings of the PM's as part of the psychology of the 'war on gold'.
