25/11/2022 17:39 | No you haven't we're back there again now Any ideas why this hasn't started recovering yet; common sense seems to be returning to rest of the market but not here so far? | archy147

27/9/2022 16:54 | Buy order filled bringing my average nicely down. Just wondering why it fell so much today but then FTSE250 is well down today too. | wiltowin
24/9/2022 13:27 | The pro business policy shift from the previous Sunak et al, along with the extra money in middle to high earners pockets should translate into some cheer however small for the likes of hfg imho. The focus will now of course turn to vat and business rates in the usual autumn budget, the later probably be for helping smaller businesses however? It's a step in the right direction I think anyway? Had a buy order in for cheeky 595p which obviously wasn't filled but there's always Mon lol. | wiltowin
23/9/2022 20:03 | Willtowin, Interesting chess move that. | uncle_sam
23/9/2022 14:23 | If that reads as shocking I apologize in advance. Obviously the sanctions would still stand but his advance would end.. | wiltowin
23/9/2022 14:20 | Imagine the market rebound if Putin announced that the push into Ukraine is over when he declares Donbas as a territory of Russia on the back of today's referendum? His call up of 300k reservists is to just hold the territory, my thoughts anyway.. | wiltowin
23/9/2022 13:35 | Not to mention raw material costs seem to be falling | alotto
23/9/2022 13:06 | Bargain of the decade with the mini budget tax cuts it'll snap back up soon enough imho | wiltowin

22/9/2022 19:10 | OK, thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately I have some indirect exposure through UK smaller company IT holdings. Luck to holders. | essentialinvestor
22/9/2022 17:26 | PE was 16-20 for almost 20 years | alotto
22/9/2022 16:42 | The rating was extraordinary last year - a food group selling in the 20's X. | essentialinvestor
22/9/2022 16:31 | Inflation has been rising for far longer than supply bottlenecks post pandemic. | wiltowin
22/9/2022 16:28 | So you're saying inflation has nothing to do with borrowing then? Funny that as I and most others think it has everything to do with borrowing, from buying big ticket items to everyday luxuries that many have gotten used to with the culture of buy now pay later? But I guess we're all wrong and you're right.. | wiltowin
22/9/2022 11:20 | HFG margins was already impacted by the higher interest cost, further interest rate hikes will need to be cushioned somehow | alotto
22/9/2022 11:17 | The interest rate hike will do nothing to tame inflation. Inflation is caused by two factors, restricted supply (temporary inflation) and money printing (permanent, unless tackled). Cheap borrowing isn't a big contributing factor to the inflation we are seeing. Current low rates won't encourage saving either, besides people have not much left at the end of the month to put money in a bank account with a low interest rate. Contradictory I have read somewhere that there might be a new stamp duty holiday. People will get on with more property buying and more borrowed money for their mortgages! Our politicians don't know what they are doing. | alotto
22/9/2022 10:19 | Could have been worse, let's see what happens this afternoon after the BOE rate released, but for sure these hikes will tame inflation but at what cost to our economy? Everyone has to eat however and although a bargain right now anything lower would be a steal.. | wiltowin |
