I need to say that I am surprised at the fall in the share price coming apparently out of the blue. I would have thought that with the recent fund raising there would have been a base in the share price of about 4p mid market.
Part of the problem of course is trades worth £10k can do this damage.
I take your point Jotoha1 about the seasonality...it was interesting that when they were just Hill Station they claimed that they were relatively immune from seasonality(and indeed I had their icecream for the first time last week at the Renior Cinema, Bloomsbury) but I suppose that has changed with Granelli who are more seasonal I assume. Indeed i was interested to read in the latest RNS of reference to seasonal swings.

It looks deeply unattractive to me.

What do you get if you combine three loss making ice cream cos?

One larger loss making ice cream co IMO.

There will be a slight fall back during the coming week..let's say half a penny max. Interesting that Fridays trades at 2.25m shares were equal to the turnover in the preceding 11 days.
Thursday's drop was understandable...the fall in turnover was spooky especially as with all the hiccups in production one would have hoped they would have been able to sell all they could produce.
The need for an 8th production line is inconvenient especially as their cash situation looks tight; I assume that most of the £700k they will be receiving from their Cheadle operation will be paying off a secured loan.
On the other hand they have got a lot of things right and it was illogical for the price on Thursday to continue to be below that ruling in October/November last year.
I have not bought or sold anything since last October. I anticipate having to be a long term holder..I am comfortable that eventually we will get to and above my average in price of 8.17p but it may take a couple of years

The worst risk is not taking one at all. Go after your dreams and goals but don't go it alone. Rely on this great find to help guide you through murky waters. This newsletter has unparalleled insight and an amazing track record. It helps you pick great shares that you may not have thought about before. It accomplishes this by emailing you when something worthwhile is on the move and worth mentioning. You will not receive any junk mail. Before you venture into those murky waters alone remember that you have something great backing you up.

Looks to me that these will slip back again, as there is appear to be no real substance to the rise today, and profits of £1.5m would only be fair value, "if" they can achieve this

Hullo

Does any body have any idea why we have this 45% price rise?
Is it about 'expected' profits of 1,5 million for FY2007 (I don't really see how that would be possible)? Is it just because the share is highly illiquid?

What's going on...

Thanks

most peculiar announcement today saying that they are going to announce their results tomorrow...indicates pressure from investors and the fact that they do not appear to have things under control

down again I was about to buy but I am suspicous as to why they are taking so long to produce the half early figures...they should have got the consolidating sorted by now and of course as a continous manufacturing company with simple supply chains and few clients they are very easy to audit
