Am in several gold miners and apart from two they have all retraced. Have topped up in a few recently and am hoping one of them will pull ahead before the others so I can switcheroo trading shares to comparatively more undervalued ones.

I think HGM may be the first horse out of the gate, though might need to wait until August. If it is lagging then I'll be switching my funds in here.

Shouldn't be need for concern as POG in roubles has gone up and the British pound should continue its weakness vs dollar during Brexit

Historically earnings, what will they be in the future is the key.

Trading at just 9x earnings and well below NAV of 170p.

SR- forget the share price, we can’t do anything to control it unless you’ve a spare 550million or so knocking around- enjoy the footie- it’s coming home...

SR- alas pretty much all goldies are suffering, HGM fairing better than most. It's the USA alas and the other things I have been mentioning- things will turn as somepoint.

Someone has wanted it down from 180p all year,
and guess what they have done it, well done.

As I've said several times, the dollar is too strong and will weaken, and surprised it's taken this long, plus tariffs. The tax cuts caused the extended GREEN strength causing the FED to remain hawkish, but in time this will change. The tariffs will jump around a lot in the coming months too. BREXIT certainty will help too in time.

I wouldn't wait too long- I recall the doubters on Easyjet arguing "it will drop from the ftse for sure" when the share price was ~900(no rational given), and the arguments on Fevertree when the share price was 1900 "it will never go up" (again no rationale)- no one provided a reason other than "pattern".... all of this was in 2017. Fundamentals rule long term. However, am always happy to read negative posts, just would like a rationale to be posted along with them.

Wait until 122p.

Don't know if it will go that low....it might.

As I have said before......the share price pattern is due a change.

Yes, if you look at the chart there have been constant ups and downs, no straight lines. I am hoping to be lucky again!

Monty has only posted one kind of message. He posted it before the most recent spike to 160. Whatever happens short term this share is solid. If you are lucky you get to buy at the bottom. But any price below 140 seems good longer term (where longer means more than a month).

I wouldn't worry overmuch, I bought these a few years ago around 50p and was staggered at the rise. I sold out between 170 - 180 and will buy back in as I am sure they will go back up there again at some point. All imho.
PS I am missing the divi!!!

I get it wrong plenty of times and happy to
admit it, being doing this over thirty two years
so accept it will happen. You are negative ever
comment and short.
A dividend return of between 6 and 35% if wrong
is okay with me.

Sometimes you just have to admit you got it wrong for the short term at least. I have.

Rot, we are all being realistic as the chart shows
plenty of down and up times.
