03/6/2017 13:33 | If you think gold is going up, which frankly in the near term it seem to be, is by holding. When gold goes up all the bigger miners benefit first. With an Mcap of £500m HGM is a tiddler. Look at FRES yesterday, up 3% and HOC too. HGM has Russian assets too and we're hardly friends with Putin are we now, he is a corrupt murderous dictator, allegedly, isn't he? So a lot of people might steer clear of HGM for that reason. I` wouldn't be concerned though. Roman Abramovich is a good mate of Putin's and he still owns 32% of HGM through Millhouse Capital ;) | dt1010
03/6/2017 12:37 | "One must remember selling something you do not own is theft, pure and simple" But not in the Stockmarket, where it is legal. It is the CB's and their lackeys the Bullion Banks who are manipulating the POG - not hedgefunds. Banks such as DB, where the Regulators and Central Bank are complicit in the fraud. | eeza
03/6/2017 11:00 | eeza The only way they can stop it is by stopping short selling with all the hedge funds and their foot soldiers rubbishing any company they wish to attack ( with no proper explanation ) One must remember selling something you do not own is theft, pure and simple, dyor. | srpactive
03/6/2017 10:24 | High time there were mass class actions against the manipulators. Their gains have been someone else's losses. Governments well satisfied with the fines into their coffers, though. Fines used to be for punishment/ change attitudes, but now used as the new taxes. Similar to the £20bill paid out for PPI by Lloyds, welcomed by the Gov as equivalent to another dose of QE, (although it at least went into the Public's pocket first). | eeza
03/6/2017 09:50 | eeza 2 Jun -------------------- When I read the article, (your link above) re. bank-admits-guilt-fr As a result of the above fraud PM stocks plummeted and in some cases companies went bankrupt. Does this not open up a case for compensation from the banks involved? | popeye888
03/6/2017 08:03 | 11_percent filtered. First thing I did after looking in here as I do occasionally. | melody9999
03/6/2017 06:09 | He's now filtered. Something mentally wrong with him I think. | dt1010
02/6/2017 20:30 | What do I deduce, Holmes has a l in it. | srpactive
02/6/2017 20:20 | Filter him. As I did years ago. | eeza
02/6/2017 18:03 | Gold up $10 HGM red. All the other PM miners I track are blue. | eeza
02/6/2017 17:47 | If gold doesn't tank and the share price here stays more or less where it is I am going to have to buy some more. | shakeypremis
02/6/2017 16:26 | Possibly, rebalancing of some ETF funds to the detriment of medium sized miners whose shares are being sold down. If so, it'll right itself in due course. | corrientes
02/6/2017 16:22 | Gold continues to zip higher. | srpactive
02/6/2017 16:22 | That would show up in short interest and we know there is none. Anyway it does not mean that 11%, most hedgies LOSE money remember. Gold is in the ascendant now, erecting itself nicely thanks for poor payroll numbers It will likely rise further as the rate increase in June is priced in. It's all rather predictable. My HOC and FRES doing very nicely. This will follow, don't fret 11% lol | dt1010
02/6/2017 16:05 | Well if gold keeps going up hgm will make more money and this will reflect in the share price soon enough, until then I continue to increase little by little, dyor. | srpactive
02/6/2017 16:00 | Tis a bit odd granted Someone selling? Price being held for stake building? | dt1010
02/6/2017 15:45 | Anyway, back to the facts. Someone does not this share price to go up. I would like to know who is doing this, and why. | 11_percent
02/6/2017 15:33 | You? Not surprised lol | dt1010
02/6/2017 15:28 | Would buy more here but wife says no (!) Not married m8. | 11_percent |
