So calling it right from 30p not good enough, I accept
the criticism it got to 168p. Gold should have continued to
$1400 by now and hgm would have been much higher. Must do
better next time, my last calls lam and gdl doing okay though.

SRP Why waste your "breath"? You repeatedly said earlier in the year that if it closed above 160 it would shoot up to £2. Are we to believe anything you say after that?

An auction to sell one of the world's and Russia's largest gold deposits will be held on January 26, 2017, with the starting price set at over $130 million, Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sergei Donskoi said Friday.

The auction will be "for the right to use the subsoil plot of federal importance, including the Sukhoi Log deposit, located on the territory of the Irkutsk Region, for the exploration and mining of gold," the decree signed by Medvedev states.

The Sukhoi Log is estimated to have reserves of about 64 million oz of gold.

Well this fall makes me laugh, you have the likes
of Mr. El - Erian ( $1trillion under management) one of
the most respected managers of money on the planet advising
his clients to increase exposure of gold to 5%, countries like Russia
buying as much gold as their countries can produce and since
then it falls from $1300 to $1168.

Mr El - Erian advises the most influential people on the earth,
including governments, I for one would not go against this
gentleman.

I would go against what this other gentleman says either,
the stock market is a system of transferring wealth from the
impatient to the patient. Oh his name a little known chap called
Mr. Buffett.

Very good post, please keep us informed here of November's figures
when released. Mr Chelsea owns a big stake here and I would not
be surprised to see more of his friends buying into hgm or we even
receive an approach.
