24/8/2016 16:54 | Cel - In the past it´s been the Chinese who have been dumping huge amounts in such a short time. | loganair
24/8/2016 16:45 | 10,000 paper gold dumped in one minute worth around $1.5b, yeah thats normal. These dumpers will be well short gold stocks before the event. Yeah its a level playing field!! Such a large dump so must be a central bank and a few friends. | celeritas
24/8/2016 16:40 | This is so easily pushed around, I wondered why goldies were struggling when gold was pretty steady then whack gold gets hit. MMM, now if I was one for conspiracy theories you'd think some knew gold was going to get hit. Hedge fund says lets short some gold stocks then later in the day we'll hit gold, now get a few of them doing it, no that doesn't happen. | celeritas
24/8/2016 16:34 | Back onto the 50dma. | srpactive
24/8/2016 16:29 | I guess 110 is possible then on the chart, hopefully can buy some around that price. | celeritas

24/8/2016 15:14 | The Power of Jackson Hole. Awesome | jl9
24/8/2016 15:08 | A ten percent retrace from 147p could have easily been accepted but anymore in this wonderful sector is a little much in my honest opinion. dyor regards active | srpactive
24/8/2016 15:05 | Further to fall I am afraid looking at the chart | trt
24/8/2016 14:52 | Yes silly season triggering stops. | srpactive

24/8/2016 10:56 | Yes shaking out weak holders as the rsi is at present levels. Month end also, buying again very soon. dyor regards active | srpactive
24/8/2016 10:03 | Ok and we could see 200p just as easily. Look at how it consolidated under 100p for 3 months before breaking, its now doing the very same with 150p. | celeritas
24/8/2016 09:54 | Getting walked down day by day by the MMs. Could see £1 level once again. Some may be locking in profits after such a good run as well. | trt
24/8/2016 08:57 | ditto Celeritas | scottishfield
24/8/2016 08:54 | Added. Gold over 1300 should allow for a better divi than we already have, great yield. | celeritas
24/8/2016 08:43 | wheres support here guys? | dilbert dogbreadth
24/8/2016 00:47 | It's all sabre rattling, Putin isnt interested in the rest of Ukraine, just looking for negotiating angles. I watch other stocks based in Russia, no reaction from them at all. Gold is more likely to go up anyway if trouble surfaces. Consolidating is my guess, it can't just keep going up Avg gold price this quarter will be up on the last so I expect a run up into Sep results. | celeritas
23/8/2016 22:23 | Possible drift due to renewed interest in the Ukraine conflict. Any views on where people see this going? More sanctions on Russia possibly? | wilco1000
23/8/2016 15:15 | be careful news events Friday | panic investor
23/8/2016 13:07 | Yes, the mm's trying to shake out as many as possible at month end. The big money players back next week, just as the nice flag is forming on the chart, a little consolidation before the rise to 200p at year end. Agree Celeritas dyor regards active | srpactive |
