05/6/2017 22:26 | DT1010 I have a holding not to dissimilar to yours, I have a little more than that but my bigger worry relates more to POG. | popeye888
05/6/2017 19:29 | Pop I am not concerned. I hold over £110k worth of stock in this. To my mind we will either get bought by a major or move up substantially when money flows back into the sector off a rising gold price. I am a long term holder and will remain so until I think gold is going to enter a bear market. Just hold. If there is a seller there'll be a buyer too. Just wait for it to clear and then see what happens ;) | dt1010
05/6/2017 15:04 | I'm a little worried that I am going to get screwed. as HGM and POG are my 2 biggest holdings in my portfolio and I have held these stocks for a number of years and subsequently not doing very well. I was hoping I would do very nicely holding these for another 4 or 5 years but its not looking good. | popeye888
05/6/2017 14:16 | Yes we were discussing that earlier, what are your thoughts P888? | srpactive
05/6/2017 14:14 | From the LSE board... "Its really unfathomable what M&G is doing in this mess! An article in Kommersant, the Russian FT, was sent to me today. the plot thickens. 'As it became known to Kommersant, a new large gold miner, capable of taking the second place in the market, may appear in Russia. It is about the unification of Petropavlovsk with the "Gold of Kamchatka" Victor Vekselberg with possible subsequent consolidation with Highland Gold by Roman Abramovich or GV Gold. To interfere with the plans may be the big debts of Petropavlovsk, the difficulties in structuring the transaction and managing the combined company. The Renova Group of Viktor Vekselberg will seek control in the gold-mining Petropavlovsk, where it has already become the largest shareholder (22.34% of the shares and 6.88% of the votes in convertible bonds), sources told Kommersant. Now, Renova, which controls, together with the friendly funds of Sothic Capital Management and M & G Debt Opportunities (included in Prudential) About 40% of Petropavlovsk, requires the change of the company's board of directors. Kommersant's interlocutors say that in case of a victory at the shareholders' meeting in June, the next step may be the association of "Gold of Kamchatka" Renova with Petropavlovsk. Moreover, a number of sources of Kommersant approves preliminary negotiations on the merger of the consolidated company with Highland Gold (the largest shareholder Roman Abramovich) and GV Gold, controlled by the owners of Lanta Bank headed by Sergei Dokuchaev." | popeye888
05/6/2017 13:47 | Just purchased another 5000 Shares, but showing has a Sell at 1.5297 with HL,but through NEX ? I also noticed from the yearly charts that HGM,and PAF rose sharply in June 2016.HGM from 93p to 147p,and PAF from 14.75p to 24.50p,that would be very nice if repeated.Gold now at $1,282.I also believe that there is a 30% upside from here for HGM.Good luck to all. | garycook
05/6/2017 13:32 | The reason we're not moving higher is because the large seller continues to supply the Market. | eeza
05/6/2017 13:23 | SP After reading the latest releases and articles, it appears to me that we are either going to be approached or merged with. If it is the former, a bid premium would have to be around thirty percent ( I stand to be corrected ) so around 200p, which has been the figure spoken about here by myself and others, maybe that is why we are not moving swiftly higher as I thought we would be, dyor. | srpactive
05/6/2017 13:18 | This just refuses to budge. I am severely tempted to buy more at this price. | shakeypremis
