I haven't bought any yet. This loan business has put me off. It seems to be every month the loan is extended.

unlike ronson, over 50% of HPT is held by institutions and 15% by directors

I hope your right Ken. Another tactic management could try would be to delist similar to Ronson.

A rights issue is very unlikely at this level of shareprice. It would be too dilutive.
The management must currently hold less than 30% of the shares or they would have been forced to table a bid under takeover rules.
If they bid for the company at an unreasonable level other bids will appear.
At the moment there is a lot of cash out there and most people see the start of a market upturn.
A ridiculous bid would backfire on the management.

Unfortunately the banks may lend management money to buy the company at a discount knowing the shareholders have given up the ghost. The important question is would any shareholder subscribe to a rights issue if offered new shares at 1p a share?

Probably as getting the cash into this yrars results would make the annual figures very respectable and keep the banks happy.

Maybe Biomax but institutions will get out asap. Look at the way millions went through the market at 1p weeks ago.

Are they expectting to pay this loan off or simply extend it for another month?
Am I correct in thinking that they seem to be owed millions for work already carried out?

Ken,

the only, but fairly significant, block? That and the question of who's side the management are playing on....?

IMO, of course - but still watching.

Company website showing another design contract win in middle east.
The only block to a major re-valuation is the reduction in debt demanded by the banks.

bit of a + outlook from the interims ,,,,,,, We
have secured major assignments in China, Denmark, Italy, Qatar, Taiwan and
Thailand, each with international customers of significant repute and standing.
The amount of repeat orders from customers has again increased.
