17/9/2009 15:39 | Would you bet against many of the directors here becoming directors in the new company? | daddy warbucks
17/9/2009 15:39 | It moves too fast to report anything accurate. That Cana though seems to be putting through a very large sell order, lots of people just trying to skim £100+ on the dips, in and out jobs but risky to do. | 8trade
17/9/2009 15:37 | Still think Ken wont let it go on the cheap | burbelly

17/9/2009 15:36 | Daddy Warbucks - 1 Jul'09 - 17:20 - 529 of 774 edit GSG Totally agree. We long term holders have to hope that these new boys are not getting ready to carve up the company between themselves, should we discover more gold on the assett. I have seen it before where a company is run down to the point that a fire sale of assetts is made or the company is wound up, only to be bought back by the directors. I am not suggesting that is happening here of course, but I wonder if we are being told all the story sometimes! | daddy warbucks
17/9/2009 15:35 | should have averaged down, not one of my best investments | burbelly
17/9/2009 15:35 | Daddy Warbucks - 23 Jul'09 - 17:59 - 547 of 772 edit The directors took out loans on terms which even to someone with limited experience as me, was poor judgement if being kind and criminally insane if being critical. People now have large % holdings in this company for virtually next to nothing and will exert their influence for their own ends. I was reading on minesite about a similar situation this week (?), which I will try to find and post. Daddy Warbucks - 23 Jul'09 - 18:09 - 548 of 772 edit July 16, 2009 To Relist, Or Delist, Or Stay Put: That Is The Question For Shareholders Of High River Gold By John Helmer in Moscow Loose Canadian stock listing rules, a compliant exchange regulator, and rubber-stamp directors have made it easy for a Russian raider to attack minority shareholders of High River Gold (HRG:TX), and threaten them with dilution and delisting, unless they give in to a low-ball buyout offer. At least that's the charge that minority shareholders of High River Gold are this week making against majority shareholder, Alexei Mordashov, and his Moscow-based Severstal Resources group. But because at least some of the institutional minority stakeholders are powerful Russians maybe as powerful as Mordashov it may still turn out that the outcome of the tussle over HRG gets decided in Moscow, not Toronto. Could this be the way that HIF goes? | daddy warbucks
17/9/2009 15:33 | Been in this since there was 27m shares in issue, seen costant dilution and now considering an offer. With an average of 7.2p and 5.6p (total holding 702k) I am not amused. | ucretin
17/9/2009 15:32 | Once you take profit here take a look at UGY UGY it is undervalued by a mile, and EK has just gone long which means his followers will join suit very soon Even if you are not bullish on gold let's assume a gold price of $900 and costs of $700 that's $200 profit per ounce. 60,000 x $200 = $12 million or around £7.5 million Put that on a p/e of 5 and you get £37.5 million That's a conservative 75p target or possible £2+, current price 35p Still not bad on a bear view : ) Gl all sorry o/t | valueinvesta

17/9/2009 15:17 | The South American mining arena is massively undervalued on AIM. If you are a serious investor in this sector look closely at MARL and HZM... Now good luck for all holders here - the share price is bouncing back and showing strength (although I am in a backwater with no streaming allowed so cant seee L2) imho | fairdeal2008
