03/4/2008 08:05 | You were 5p out, tut ! ;) | taylor20
02/4/2008 20:01 | What can I say ......... | skyracer
13/3/2008 14:10 | The wording on the RNS 21 Jan was: "Other discussions are at a preliminary stage..." Given the excellent results, and the rebuffing of Ironshore c140p, would not be surprised if another offer c160-170p was announced in due course. | skyracer
11/3/2008 09:06 | Great results today. Massive increase in divi should diminsh volatility. 18/12/2007 12:14 | looks like the offer indication has been increased.... | ursus
18/12/2007 11:59 | I heard an initial 125p mentioned, thats far too low, and with Kiln recommending 150p the offeror should clearly see this. A reasonable and successful bid will require c160p IMO, 150p would still seem a bit cheap. | skyracer
14/12/2007 11:57 | Shares Tips and Rumours SHARES MAGAZINE Plays of Week: Buy EAGA (EAGA) at 176p. Buy Pennon (PNN) at 664p. Updates: Buy Heritage Underwriting (HUA). | taylor20
13/12/2007 13:54 | I hold both HUA and KIL. IMO HUA is worth far more than 130p. | skyracer
05/12/2007 20:34 | maybe this news will force the heritage board to reveal the real state of their business rather than hiding the earnings in reserves etc. | ursus
05/12/2007 20:06 | Looks a bit iffy still but certainly good news: LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Heritage Underwriting Agency PLC confirmed it received an offer approach, but said it has told the potential offeror that the offer price significantly undervalues Heritage. Heritage added it has not entered into talks with the potential offeror. | what is a login ?
09/10/2007 13:07 | The share price chart bears an uncanny resemblance to the WHI and BUR charts .... | skyracer
09/10/2007 11:27 | i think someone's noticed. | ursus
09/10/2007 09:37 | no interest???? Keeps on hitting new highs.... where are the posters?? slap | slapdash
04/10/2007 13:14 | there she blows... still lowly rated... slap | slapdash
02/10/2007 09:49 | this should have further to run as P/E for 2008 is something like 5 which is low even for an lloyds underwriter... also yield should give some support Slap | slapdash
02/10/2007 07:22 | There is a write-up on HUA in today's Questor (Daily Telegraph) | what is a login ?
01/10/2007 14:38 | reasonable buying... SPT at 110p... shoudl reach new highs given time.... doesn't appear to be any selling at the moment.. slap | slapdash
24/9/2007 09:43 | makes you wonder what they have to do to move the share price forward. i reckon y/e ntav will be at or about the current price per share, given no serious casualties before jan. so at the moment the market does not seem to give this any value greater than its cash and shares. | ursus
24/9/2007 08:45 | Excellent set of results, and a nice decisive break above 105p, swapped out of CHU into this one. | taylor20
18/6/2007 16:09 | Now the share price is being nudged up slightly. There can't be many growth stocks with PEs of six. How long is this one going to hover around the 100p for? | what is a login ?
01/5/2007 14:37 | Could well be login especially with the recent director purchases. | liarspoker
01/5/2007 14:36 | Rather surprising to see the share price going down one and a half per cent on what looks like very light trading. Could it be the MMs playing yo-yo with the share price? | what is a login ?
12/4/2007 16:19 | This is the only information I have regarding the dividend. DIVIDEND AMOUNT 2.50p TOTAL 2.50p PERIOD H2 Dividend PROVISIONAL EX DATE 04-04-2007 PAYMENT DATE 20-06-2007 I think it's a good sign that the share price didn't dip when HUA went ex div. last week. Also there have been two small but significant director buys in the last few days. | what is a login ?
04/4/2007 08:32 | Couple of questions regarding the dividend: I assume HUA is ex-div today (10th April being the record date, an odd choice)? From the results, am I right in assuming that next year, there will likely be an interim and a final dividend, providing a full year dividend around 5p, yielding ~ 5% ? (I seem to remember KBC Peel Hunt, quoting an expected yield of around > 6%, when the Share price was around the 70s). | taylor20
28/3/2007 16:24 | No breakout. I must confess I sold a few this afternoon leaving myself only a token holding. I think that for a small company to make a profit of ten million pounds is no small feat. However the market has not responded. I wonder whether this is partly due to hurricane Katrina leaving such an imprint on the collective psyche. The CNN effect. Another consideration is that I do not understand the jargon of the underwriting business and do not have much of a feeling for this sector. Perhaps I am just being impatient, however I need to have something in the kitty at the moment for other things. | what is a login ? |
